It concerns me a great deal about the fish kills all over the US. I live in Okla. and we have had at least 3 different major fish kills in our lakes and rivers. What's really going on with our lakes and rivers? We never seem to get a straight answer from anyone, just comments such as; we don't know yet, or we're checking on it, etc. What else are we to do?
Some of the footage showed greenish water and the probability of an intense algae bloom, but what caused that is the answer no state will ever honestly answer.
You should read And The Waters Turned to Blood by Rodney Barker, if you haven't already. I wouldn't go near those waters during or after a fish kill. Some dreadful history of pollution there.
