  • can you do tricks on it?

  • nice scooter, just wish scooters didn't look so dorky haha

  • @HariVIyer You're only as dorky as you feel Hari! :) -Peter

  • i never try usse this?how do u make it turn right/left?u just peddle your leg 2-3 times than turn?

  • @moto815 All you have to do is turn the handlebar while you are coasting along. You can kick or not kick when you are turning. Basically one foot stays on the scooter and the other kicks along. -Peter

  • tail whip!!!

  • Hi-Ten steel the cheapest steal money can buy!!!

  • @SteVeYG215 We went for steel over aluminum because it absorbs vibrations and bumps so it makes for a more comfortable ride. This scooter is rated at 300lbs capacity and we have had 0 issues with the deck despite selling over more than any other scooter this year. -Peter

  • Looks good but the handle bar connection looks like the weak link.

  • @utubeworms Sold quit a few already and have not had any problems with those. They seem simple but the lack of many little moving parts actually makes it pretty reliable. GoPed has been using this handle post for almost 30 years on all their scooters. -Bert

  • can you do tricks on this??? please answer

  • @scootermadnezz You could do tricks with the KickPed though it's not really designed to be used in that way. It's more of a comfortable scooter for regular daily use. -Peter

  • It looks very well built.

  • @mscir

It is, that's why it comes with life time warranty. -BC

  • For someone dead on 5'8, which handlebar height would you recommend out of the two you offer?

  • @Paulybobs Probably the shorter one (you could go either way) but the shorter one would be a bit more portable. -BC

  • @farrukhfreakkid, stupid kid, time to grow up

  • back flip

  • Oh my god

  • Where's the nearest scooter shop to Ontario, California so I can buy one? And what's the price?

  • @MyIpodIzMyLife This scooter is available exclusively from NYCeWheels in NYC. Luckily, we ship! Visit the link in the video description to purchase your KickPed. -Peter

  • supid scooters time to get a bike

  • @farrukhfreakkid a scooter fits in my cubicle; a bike does not.

  • cool

  • he had me at 6 2

  • @julianchelo The ultimate scooter for tall people! :) -Peter

  • @nycewheels you can expect this tall person showing up and buying this later this month, great video!

  • after visting nyc last year n seeing people on scooters on the roads n side walks i wanted one, but in uk adults dont ride em! anyway is there any model simular to these 'grown ups' model worth buying for $50 - $100? cos im broke.

    cheers

    uk

  • @funkyastronauts We get a lot of excited comments from visitors from Europe who are amazed that so many people ride kick scooters here. I'm honestly shocked they aren't more wide spread. For $50 - $100 you're still going to get something more of a toy or a kids kick scooter. I think it's worth saving up and getting something like the KickPed that will last many many years. Good luck and regardless of what you buy: get out there and have fun with it. -Peter

  • Which is better for bumpy roads; the KickPed or the KnowPed?

  • @Trund27 Well they are very similar, the large size KickPed will have a taller handlebar, a thinner deck, and no front brake. I think the KickPed may be a bit better because the thin deck forces you to keep your feet over the center of balance, making your more stable at speed. -Peter

  • @nycewheels very cool. my big problem is the vibration up through the handlebars that I have felt with the Razor. It kills my hands and wrists. I think it may be the small, plastic wheels; that's why the KickPed's fat little rubber tires look good to me

    Thanks for the info!

  • @Trund27 No problem. You're exactly right about the wheel size and material. The soft rubber and 6" diameter make the KickPed a much smoother ride. Let me know if you have more questions. -Peter

  • @nycewheels Very cool. Thanks very much!

  • @Trund27 i got the kickped a few weeks ago and let me tell you, it feels very safe over bumpy roads. its not the most comfortable feeling, but it does go over cracks, bumps and sewers very confidently. i would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in city scooting

  • @mbk911 Thanks for the info. It looks sooo fun. Happy scooting!

  • WOW....What a beauty!

  • being Cortney is fun Cortney's not done

  • Do you guys ship to South Africa? I interested in getting one

  • @ryanj252 We can ship anywhere, search for "international shipping" on nycewheels (dot) com -Peter

  • I got one so I can ride with my daughter while she rides her razor scooter. This things is super well made. All of the welds are very nice, even the welds underneath the deck where you can't see them unless you turn it over. It's a very well made scooter and I have no regrets about choosing it.

  • @thescooterdewd Isn't it beautiful? -Peter

  • Do you guys do giveaways, by any chance? because i want one... :)

  • @loklou777 No give-aways at this point, but it's a good idea. Everyone likes free stuff. For now you'll have to buy one though...:) -Peter

  • dude thats sick check my channel if u want amazing scooter vids

  • do the wheels hold air?

  • @collinbmxscooter The wheels are not pneumatic, they are a soft rubber which absorbs shock but cannot go flat from a puncture. -Peter

  • iv been waiting for this for a long time

  • nice video, how much is it?look like it for kids?

  • @moto815 Click on the link in the video description to see all the details (price, features, specs, etc.) Or go to nycewheels(dot com) and search for "KickPed." The KickPed scooter would fit kids ages 8+ who are at least 5' tall. In that case order the shorter handlebar option! - Peter

  • Any other kick scooters that have tall handlebars like this? I'm 6' and would rather not have to lean over while riding : /

  • @CelticDragon026 We designed the KickPed with two handlebar choices. With the tall handlebar the KickPed is the most comfortable scooter for tall people I've seen. I'm 6'2" and riding scooter with the taller bar in the movie. I know what you mean about leaning over, I hate that! :) -Peter

  • i could have sworn goped has been making this push scooter for at least 10 years

  • @thegenrl This scooter is similar to some other kick scooters offered by Goped but it has some dramatic differences. Mainly it is stripped down to bare essentials and has a thinner deck to allow easier kicking. Also, there are two handlebar options, making it customizable to you. - Peter

  • I have to admit, this looks pretty tempting just for the durability factor. I ride a Razor A5 around town and it's quick but I just can't trust its fender brake! The KickPed might be more trustworthy.

  • @djYuz The KickPed is overall much more durable than a Razor A5. Not only will the fender brake hold up longer, the whole scooter will last you longer.

  • @nycewheels

I went ahead and bought one and I'm very happy with it. Construction is indeed solid as described. The platform has a nice taper in the center for easier kicking even though it's a bit higher off the ground. It's also surprisingly comfortable to carry over your shoulder as shown in the video.

The ride quality is nice, stable, and smooth (it does pretty well over rougher pavement too). It's a little bit slower than an A5 but a lot safer and way more durable. It's a great scooter.

  • @djYuz Great to hear you love it djYuz, and I'm glad I could help you out. Have fun and post a picture on our Facebook page if you get a chance!

  • hahaha these things look sooo cool i trick scooter but this looks nice to just ride

  • @SkooterBro23 Thanks! Yeah they are definitely good for cruising or just getting around town. The KickPed is a great commuter scooter.

  • If it stops raining, I'm coming at lunchtime for this (wanted to come yesterday). How much of a deal will you give me if I buy two?

  • @juliekadams you are lucky., the sun just came out. We have also received another large shipment of KickPed's yesterday. Lets talk in the shop, I am sure we can work out a nice deal for a family package.

  • cool

  • @krissalive1 Glad to hear you're having fun with it krissalive1! Take care on those curbs, the KickPed may be indestructible but you're not. Bert, the owner (and camera man), fell a few weeks ago on a Xootr. No texting and scooting as they say. Thanks for the great comment and keep scooting! - Peter

  • @krissalive1

Hurry up, they are selling out quickly ; )
