  • I use e-collars; I know how to use them properly, keeping a dog in their "thinking" brain vs reactive. I also know that while they may be used Effectively, they are by NO means a Positive tool. They are negative reinforcement/positive punishment, and as such, not the best tool to TEACH with. You teach first, and if you feel the need to correct non-compliance, they can be a great tool. But puppies need to be taught first, and trust built.

  • @deenamarie We use the remote training collar to train, not punish. We train dogs in the most positive way--dogs of all ages.

    It seems there might be a tone of moral superiority in your obviously rhetorical question. Just because you do not know how to use a remote training collar in a positive and effective way, doesn't mean we don't. Feel free to visit the website or the blog and read the many testimonials.
