uhhh c'mon people, grow some brain! TF2 is not setted in any year. they have teleporters, the ubergun wich heals magically from anything (and from distance too), a clock that make u FULLY INVISIBLE, and medic can turn people invincible.

it's not set in 60s, or 50s. it has no time, or it is set in the future. but surely not in 60s or 50s...

The spy cloak doesnt make you 100% invisible, its just a mirrior like refraction through you, you can see a spys vauge outline if you look closely. Also I think its set around the year 2050 or somthing like that.

No one has ever spotted me while I am cloaked no matter how close or obnoxiously I walk in front of them. The only time I've been shot is when I stupidly walked in front of a heavy, when pyros go mad, and a very unlucky sniper shot.

Well when you bump into somthing or your hit by a bullet that will flash you up for a moment, because the cloak is a mirror light refreactor, giving the illusion that theres nothing there. But Im just saying I turned my screen brightness or "gamma" as its called up to full a few times, saw some swirly shapes sometimes, and when I shot them, BAM its an enemy spy...

And your argument for cloaking is scientific. There are teleporters, sentries and dispensers that build themselves when you hit them with a wrench in this game. Science doesn't have a place in this argument.

It's a fictional game. I doubt (as I have said earlier) that anyone will ever invent a pipe wrench that can build and refill ammunition for sentry guns by just whacking them with it. One that looks like that anyway... the building design, the costume design, the type of flamethrower the pyro uses, all of them suggest 50s-60s. It doesn't matter about ubercharges or spy cloaks, this is purely a cartoon game. Ever watch Wile E. Coyote? It took place in "A time around now", and it had the same thing
