First of all you don't sterilize with peroxide. You should boil the kettle and put sea salt with it. Second you should have a hollow needle because if you just use a pin the skin you pierced through doesn't get taken out and it can cause infection. Thirdly you don't use an earring. fourthly you shouldn't have pulled the needle out before putting the ring through you should have pulled it out of your nose so going down ways and as is coming out you have the ring ready to put through so you don't

@sunsset21 don't go slow. Take a deep breathe in and when you let it out push the needle thru. I did mine that way and it still hurt but not alot :) hope this helps!

Hate to be "one of those people" but you should have just bought a needle and nose ring off the net or I dunno went to a professional and btw you totally nullified your sanitization which should have been alcohol bot peroxide with that incredibly germ covered eye pencil.
I had my friend do mine, and his technique was really good. He mounted the sterilised needle on a cork, the eye-of-the-needle obvioiusly inserted in the cork, the sharp end sterilised. The cork acts as a handle for accuracy and required pressure. Place a marker point on the place you want it. You can use ice to numb the place, but when I had mine done it was damn near painless. Swab the area before and after, wear gloves, sterilise the ring, push through. Swab, and presto!
Pierce it from the inside, cuzif u do thatm your putting presure on it, and when it goes through, its going to hit the inside of your nose, and your going to bleed... .__.
Go to a professional and report videos that support self piercing. It's not going to be so funny when you contract a disease from unsterilized piercing practice.

Piercing your nose very QUICKLY isn't all that easy to do. I have a high pain tolerance and even I had to go through it slowly. I also used peroxide and didn't have any infections. Once I was done it didn't hurt anymore. Also, I had a nose stud that was L shaped and it hurt going in the first time cause. it wanted to close up really quick after I peirced it and you have to turn it the right way to get it in but it got done and its been at least 7 months now.

You should have pushed the needle down to the surface of your nose, then pushed the ring through while pushing out the needle. Makes is a lot easier! :)
@ladyvalery2 ice hardens your skin and makes it tighter... she should have used a heat pack.. it loosens the skin and makes the needle easier to go through..
@Kendraandmilo once the needle has penetrated the skin, take the stud, line it up with the end of the needle (obviously not the sharp end) and continue to push the needle through and the stud will slide in nicely. Pulling the needle back out can cause damage to the wound through push and pull, this is why you must push the needle all the way through.
Never take the needle out and then try and push stud through, this can cause ripping and infection. Always follow the needle through the skin with the stud. NEVER use a sewing needle ALWAYS use the correct equipment it comes pre sterilised and in a sterilised packet. I have been piercing for 9 years now so I know what I'm talking about.

You should have pushed the needle down to the surface of your nose, then pushed the ring through while pushing out the needle. Makes is a lot easier! :)

@ladyvalery2 ice hardens your skin and makes it tighter... she should have used a heat pack.. it loosens the skin and makes the needle easier to go through..

@Kendraandmilo once the needle has penetrated the skin, take the stud, line it up with the end of the needle (obviously not the sharp end) and continue to push the needle through and the stud will slide in nicely. Pulling the needle back out can cause damage to the wound through push and pull, this is why you must push the needle all the way through.

Never take the needle out and then try and push stud through, this can cause ripping and infection. Always follow the needle through the skin with the stud. NEVER use a sewing needle ALWAYS use the correct equipment it comes pre sterilised and in a sterilised packet. I have been piercing for 9 years now so I know what I'm talking about.

Tip for the future -
When piercing use ice to numb the skin first, I pierced my own nose and used ice an it didnt hurt that bad,
