  • Why the hell is "Catherine Tate" allowed on after this comedy gold ?

  • well you should've thought about that before you fucked up my daughter's life, goodnight! XD

  • Ricky Gervais knows about Jean Paul Sartre? Wow!

  • @BlackSabotage100 yeah? he studied philosophy at university.

  • fuck the genie bit, the funniest parts "i dont reaaally knooow" XD

  • If it's up there, I'll give you the money myself!

  • lol @ Les Dennis slagging off Graham Norton

  • Gerard Kelly . Wonderful talent

  • music freak can u upload all of extras in reverse and it beats copy right.

  • watch?v=XlJDFLH1IU8&feature=related here's some of the missing part...

  • probably the best episode they did...and les denis was the star. brilliant!"

  • "would you rather have a bionic arm or a bionic leg" I would'nt be surprised if KP had rang ricky in real life and asked him that same question! haha :)

  • Everyone: here's the missing genie scene in decent quality:

    watch?v=dBbAWwSQC8E

  • You missed out the best parts.

We didn't see the rest of the Genie scene

We didn't see when maggie entered the party.

Can't you remove the old 1-4-2 and upload it again properly?

  • @sam04019491 youtube removed the ending of part 2 when it was uploaded. I'm sorry it wasn't uploaded properly it was originally. It's been up for over two years and youtube screwed it up. when I have time I'll try to fix it but the video is on a different computer. Also if I reuploaded it is liable to get flagged as copyrighted since youtube has changed their policies since the original upload.

  • @sam04019491 I totally agree. I think the genie scene is one if the best in the series.

  • Les Dennis is a surprisingly good actor!

  • anyone else find themselves, on a second viewing, fighting the urge to skip forward on the video cos you know there's a cringe-worthy part coming up?

  • @garratt86 Thats how Ricky Gervais works, i dare you to watch this or the office all the way through without pausing or walking out of the room, the mans a genius . . . . .

  • @garratt86 wot cringe worthy part??

  • it's so heartbreaking

  • If you wanna see the genie bit that was cut out, click ''Ricky Gervais as a Genie'' on the right :D

  • jesus christ i only just found out the bloke who plays bunny died...damn

  • if it's up there i'll give you the money meself. haha

  • @noisyneil what does that mean?

  • "It's sunday, can you keep the fannies down to a minimum?" rofl...

  • is that good? a dooote reaally knooo

  • they are so cute the way they call eachother, she asks a random question, he gives a smart answer, she doesnt get it.. then.. byeeee...

  • lmao "did she put up a fight!" *cat claw.

  • Brits are too funny.

  • "If it's up there, I'll give you the money myself!"

  • @pcvideogamer

    what does that even mean?

  • @pomegranateish, At the end of this episode you see Les Dennis giving her one... and using a catch phrase from one of the TV quiz shows he used to host here in the UK during the mid 90's (i think 1990's) anyways at times the contestants would give stupid answers and he would reply "if its up there I'll give you the money myself" which became a catch phrase for him and the show, so using it at the end of this episode was just a brilliant witty idea, good one who ever thought that up! :)

  • The gay dude has a fucking massive head.

  • Maybe you should've thought about that before you fucked up my daughter's life LMAO

  • 2:37 Bunny looks like Gary Glitter in that picture.

  • 2:36 ..I mean the first Photo that is shown!!

  • I was looking forward to the bent all out of proportion bit but you cut it!

  • BRENT... all...out...of...propor...tion? Hmm? (And I'm doing the Queer Genie 'Hmm?!')

  • the wierd questions maggie asks andy is ly the sumthin ricky wud ask karl lol

  • bunny its one of the most bizarre characters iv ever seen hahaha

  • Superb episode.....

  • his graeme norton impression is spot on lol

  • "if its up there, i'll give you the money meself"

    XD

  • why did u cut out most of the genie bits?

  • @lickstickly yeah, and the nanny letting off... idiotic editing...

  • This one is my favourite: so brilliant!

  • a dot reeeally knooow!

  • god the girl is so depressing.... jesus christ.

  • I KNOW WHAT A DEPRESSSING STORY

  • i see les dennis in a completely different light after this. i love how he can take the mick out of himself so much.

  • i totally agree i feel the same about all the stars that appear in extras, i just love this series and gervais x (oh and stephen of course, and shaun oh hell all of them lol!

  • i love smerch! i think i fancy him in a strange way xD shaun=legend!

  • apparently he wrote some of the stuff that happens to his character, he was pathetic to begin with, after les dennis finished with him he was the biggest loser in the world lol. hats off to the comedian, actor and impressionist.

  • Same here. Great lad !!!

  • Ah this is the same house used in Doctor Who, the woman who turns into a bunch of adipose lives there. Seem to have redecorated since this. Fascinating trivia there. =p

  • "Olivia Newton John wouldn't be seen dead in that!" ROFLMFAO

  • That is one of the best episodes of Extras I've ever seen. It just gets better and better with every viewing. Very dark and twisted, but with real belly laughs every now and then. And yeah, ptting Catherine Tate after this is like driving a Renault 5 after a Porsche!

  • Who's Mavis Riley? Wasn't it Mavis Wilton?

  • Russ Abbott's Madhouse and The Russ Abbott Show were tripe. In about 10 years of sketches I laughed about twice - and that was at Bella Emberg's weight problem.

  • i like how the closing "up next: catherine tate" mentions get less and less enthusiastic each episode.

first it was all "stay tuned yee haw! whoopidy-doo! next is the Catherine Tate extravaganza! it's the latest craze! here's some zany catch phrases!"

by episode 4 it's "next. cath."

it's just gonna be a black and white picture of broccoli by the christmas special

  • how come 1-4-2 and 1-4-3 don't quite match up?

  • for some reason when it uploaded it cut out a bit at the end of part 2

  • @musicfreak1760 maybe you can upload just the genie scene, and you can call it "funny ricky gervais as a tanned funny genie" or something like that. Anyway, thank you for the uploads!! thumbs up for you!!

  • "Do you know who said that?"

    "Jean-Paul Satre?"

    "Bobby Davro".

  • I love the Graham Norton impression!

  • The best part was cut out! We surveyed 100 people... How could you cut that out?!

  • BEST SHOW EVER!!!

  • the party scene makes me cringe so much! The repressed, "woman-child" is really tragic...poor girl, lol

  • les is amazing in this

  • It hurts watching this :D Love it!

  • 6:26

  • lol. the ending is hilarious but i find extras too dark to watch really

    depressing

  • Yup. watching it back makes me cringe

  • which are the other two episodes with bunny in them? anyone? please?

  • The Christmas Special, and the one with Ian McKellen. He's bloody hilarious in all of them!

  • the acting in this is brilliant! especially the gay guys daughter

  • There is so much comedy in tragedy. Gervais and Merchant are geniuses.

  • I lost count of the jokes and funny references long b4 the ending with the parody of Les Dennis' comments on the Series that cemented his previous fame=Family Fortunes.."If its up there I will give you the money myself!"...Very Clever....but the whole episode is superb and Les Dennis is really funny all thru' this episode...

  • I dont really think its homophobic, yeah the character who is the villain (the dad) in this episode is gay, but he's not the bad guy for being gay but for being a controlling, lying arsehole. They do also make fun of some gay comedians, but i can see their point over really camp ones like Norton being totally unintelligent in their humour (although I think he's funny). But at no point to they say or even imply that being gay is wrong or impure or some bullshit that some people come out with.

  • les dennis, what a legend!!

  • awwha awwha awwha awwha!

  • its quite funny, but again, its a sunday, can we keep the fannies down to a minimum

  • ricky gervais class put more funny stuff on music freak

  • Maggie has the sexiest hair.

  • lol she really does!!

  • @VainAppointed don't forget voice too. Love a woman with an accent.

  • I DOOOONT REAAALY NOOO

  • if its up there i'll give you the money myself LOL

  • Its so funny that he signs aweful, yet gets mad at her for sounding bad. That guy is too funny.

  • Wait.......what the hell? My dvd doesn't have the Grease sequence, anyone know why?

  • lol it'll be on the deleted scenes bit

  • take it back man, it shud do, its one of the best bits lol

  • briwyunt

  • It's brilliant watching the bit with Les Dennis doing the Mavis Riley impression after watching the outtakes where him and Ricky crack up laughing trying to get through it.

  • bout cocks and fannies haha

  • dennis is class in this

  • Dear lord, that last bit with Les Dennis was fucking hilarious.

  • Thanks for posting these. I didn't see the first series for some reason, so its great to be able to watch them here. :)

  • Superb script, Les Dennis is brilliant.

  • i love gerard kelly so much!

  • Haha Maggie and Andy should get together!

  • hahahahahaahahahahahaha,,,, haahahaahaah

  • Bobby Davro lol

  • awesome!! this is so good! seen it a few times now and still luv it. "if its up there ill give u the money myself". brilliant!!!!

  • this is hard 2 watch

  • Dont watch it then..........??

  • "you should have thought about that before you fucked up my daughters life" hahaha

  • He fucked up. lol

  • some of this episode is missing

  • "I should've listend to that. Do you know who said that?"

    "Jean-Paul Sartre?"

    "Bobby Davro".

  • This episode is possibly the darkest episode of the series. The relationship between Bunny and his daughter is grim. The poor girl

is chastised by a 'never was' fag father who insists on living vicariously through his daughter.

  • 'Is that good? Is that good'

    'I DON'T REALLY KNOW!!'

    'What?'

'If its up there, I'll give you the money myself!'

    'Get off me!'

    Classic stuff

  • what does that mean?

  • Mavis Riley and Family Fortunes.
