Who is that muppet newsreader- "so the League Cup goes to Highbury"?
It's the League CHAMPIONSHIP they won, the League CUP is a totally different trophy (Arsenal won that in 1987 not 89). Never tire of hearing "It's up for grabs now-Thomas.. right at the end....... AFC FOREVER

george graham...proper manager who knew how to buy a defender and how to construct the best defense we ever had. I personally wish he was still managing us. Liverpool were tha best team year upon year at that time ...to win 2-0 at anfield was a monumental achievement. stunning performance...nothing boring about that!!!!

@MrSayitagain What made you say so? Are you an Arsenal fan? I've been a Gooner for more than 2 decades, I sure hell remember what George did for our club. Hell, I got hooked to Arsenal because of George. And I bet every true Gooner who has supported Arsenal since the 80s will never forget him.
