We're taking the railroad summer 2010. Anchorage to Fairbanks with the flight up to the Artic Circle. Then flying back to Anchorage and driving to Seward for a couple of days. We did a cruise a few years back, but this time we want to see the real Alaska.
I, too, am an Alaska Railroad tour guide for for 2009. Maybe if you ride this train this summer, you might get us as your tour guides! I agree with you jmob, it IS the best train in the world!!!!!

Definately ride the Alaska Railroad. Im an Alaska Railroad Tour guide for 2009 and its the best train in the world!!!!!
