I fully agree with you on the part of our most idolized scientists being mystics. Their practices are what had to have brought about the ideas they gave to us, because if you think about it, those ideas cannot be reproduced by all the mundane thinking in the world. Their meditation had to contribute to their findings in some way. Many people may have a fantasy based idea of what mainstream science is really like, just like they have a fantasy about how the government works. ;)

Yes. I agree with you, but that only applies for the intelligent, contributing scientists. Most mainstream scientists are just a bunch of ego-centric morons that play follow the leader and are in it just to keep payroll. Most of them can't even think beyond the general consensus let alone contribute new ideas. Yes. Not everyone is content with the things in this new world order thing. In fact, things like ki/chi, magick, etc. are real. Do you think something like that would be made mainstream? No. If everyone knew they could become whatever they want with meditation, etc., there wouldn't be this corrupt government because people would be intelligent and powerful as individuals. Remember folks, science doesn't know everything.

I bet you more scientists regularly meditate than most of the general population. I'm a mathematician and I meditate, and I have plenty of scientist and engineering friends that do the same. Look up many of the famous physicist, they are often mystics. Check out the Tao of Physics. Both Edison and Tesla had their own forms of meditation. They didn't practice zazen or whatever brand of wiccan mediation you prefer, but they did do their own meditations very regularly.
