As someone who is very informed about railroads and how they operate, I can tell you that this is an "autorack" rail car. They are manufactured by TTX incorporated and are use to transport automobiles from manufacturer to dealers. The chains are tied to the bottoms of the autos and the "benches" arent really benches at all. They are ramps for the cars to wheels to sit on. The middle is recessed to give good Clarence underneath the automobile so that all the chains do not entangle I'm the vehicl

So what are the BENCHES for? The 'shackles' could be used to keep cars in place in commute. But BENCHES? These could very well be for auto transport... but they could JUST AS WELL be for PEOPLE when the time comes. I have seen these cars many times. They simply are auto racks. The benches hold up the cars on the upper level. Chains hold down cars on the bottom. Vent holes on the sides keep the cars from heating up and damaging their plastic in a hot train car, and I have seen cars inside these. Has anyone wondered why you never see cars hauled by truck except to the dealer from the railroad and you never see cars in other types of freight cars? The railroad is much cheaper.
I am a Retired Railroader those are auto racks for shipping automobiles. They were covered a few years ago to prevent damage to the cars, kids would throw rocks from overpasses and damage the cars. People would steal the spare tires off pickup trucks, take transmissions out of the cars while we pulled a hill, etc. I am not pro-government but these are not Fema cars.

@Esal6961, no I am not Nuts, I am a experienced railroader, with knowledge about railcars. I am not pro-government. This particular car could be new, new automobiles generally don't leak oil. We are fighting for our Constitutional Rights but these are automobile racks not FEMA cars. Try going to the nearest mainline railroad and watch for these cars, you will find them loaded with automobiles. Keep up the vigilance.
@brainerdrebel I worked for the company that made & designed these auto carriers. Thae auto carriers contain 2 levels. This design is for taller trucks. What you are calling benches are really ramps. The chains are used to lock down the axles, to prevent damage. Also note these are not of extremely sturdy construction. The high school kids from River Rouge high school were always breaking into the storage yard. They were giving drinking parties in these transport cars.

I used to work for a company that shipped trucks after modifying them. And those are for sure car transporters not femma train cars. Ever see them going anywhere you will be able to tell they have cars loaded on them. But I wouldn't put it past them to use those for that purpose. but there is no need for chains you couldn't get out of it like you could the old wooden box cars. They are metal now.

As someone who is very informed about railroads and how they operate, I can tell you that this is an "autorack" rail car. They are manufactured by TTX incorporated and are use to transport automobiles from manufacturer to dealers. The chains are tied to the bottoms of the autos and the "benches" arent really benches at all. They are ramps for the cars to wheels to sit on. The middle is recessed to give good Clarence underneath the automobile so that all the chains do not entangle I'm the vehicl

So what are the BENCHES for? The 'shackles' could be used to keep cars in place in commute. But BENCHES? These could very well be for auto transport... but they could JUST AS WELL be for PEOPLE when the time comes. Particularly since it is just too convenient for transportation to your coming, local FEMA CAMP (which some of these ARE along rail lines!) Goo gle "Sustainable Development"- "Agenda 21" and the commentary DOES often mention sky-rise apartments built along RAIL LINES.

It's kinda hard to do that sort of work if the clearance between the car and the floor is really low. I have seen these cars many times. They simply are auto racks. The benches hold up the cars on the upper level. Chains hold down cars on the bottom. Vent holes on the sides keep the cars from heating up and damaging their plastic in a hot train car, and I have seen cars inside these. Has anyone wondered why you never see cars hauled by truck except to the dealer from the railroad and you never see cars in other types of freight cars? The railroad is much cheaper.

I am a Retired Railroader those are auto racks for shipping automobiles. They were covered a few years ago to prevent damage to the cars, kids would throw rocks from overpasses and damage the cars. People would steal the spare tires off pickup trucks, take transmissions out of the cars while we pulled a hill, etc. I am not pro-government but these are not Fema cars.

@Esal6961, no I am not Nuts, I am a experienced railroader, with knowledge about railcars. I am not pro-government. This particular car could be new, new automobiles generally don't leak oil. We are fighting for our Constitutional Rights but these are automobile racks not FEMA cars. Try going to the nearest mainline railroad and watch for these cars, you will find them loaded with automobiles. Keep up the vigilance.

@brainerdrebel I worked for the company that made & designed these auto carriers. Thae auto carriers contain 2 levels. This design is for taller trucks. What you are calling benches are really ramps. The chains are used to lock down the axles, to prevent damage. Also note these are not of extremely sturdy construction. The high school kids from River Rouge high school were always breaking into the storage yard. They were giving drinking parties in these transport cars.

I used to work for a company that shipped trucks after modifying them. And those are for sure car transporters not femma train cars. Ever see them going anywhere you will be able to tell they have cars loaded on them. But I wouldn't put it past them to use those for that purpose. but there is no need for chains you couldn't get out of it like you could the old wooden box cars. They are metal now.

@WurledPeas I don't know, they look more like 6 inches off the deck to me ;) still uncomfortable as all hell. Also in the beginning the Nazis at least pretended that they were carting off the Jews to some nice safe place. Gassing at will was only in the final months. The derth of chains must mean that the people being carted off must be at least 30 feet tall or they were meant to hold cars in place. I don't know, the later seems a bit fishy to me.

@WurledPeas Yes, meant Dearth. My keyboard is a bit old. A set of chains every at what appears to be 17 feet will keep cars in place or the people being chained down must be really freaking tall, I'd say in the 20 to 30 foot tall range.

Radio Church. I have since subscribed to his email newsletter and have emailed him regarding who this general is that stated there are concentration camps. I will let you know what I find out.
