Cindy was an amazing person. When I met her and she join the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance as a board member it made me fell really good. When Cindy passed it was like losing my best friend all over again. I lost my younger sister Joan Sagan on May 1, 2004 one of my best friends and a travel buddy who was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. I miss you both every day
This is *exactly* like my mum's story. I just feel like not enough awareness is made of Ovarian Cancer. So much knowledge and awareness is there for Lukeamia and Breast Cancer...but Ovarian is just insidious. Thus it should be brought to the attention of women a lot more.
