  • Is there any way to get this to fullscreen

  • This is an excellent remake, but my only gripe is that when you press Alt + Enter, it does not support full screen. Only 3 resolutions in windowed mode :(

    256x224

    512x448

    768x672

Unless I'm doing something really wrong?!...

  • Nice skills:) It;'s my one of the favourite game series in all time. That's for sure.

  • this is addicting

  • I wish I could use a computer controller I bought to use for this game, but I don't know how. :(

  • it's funny the "NES" polar bear has a more intimidating growl than the SNES one.

  • can you use an xbox 360 controller for this game. what i mean is can you use the settings to use your controller instead of the keyboard?

  • @AgentOrange502 Normally...no. You'll need a 3rd party program like xpadder or joy2key to use a controller.

  • @blzdout yeah i figures it out already. thanks a lot because if i wouldn't of have not found out, i would have found out by you.

  • 0:48

To lazy to climb the ladder?

  • @ludwigish no. too time consuming.

  • They should just adopt the Super Mega Buster from Rockman 5.

  • thumbs up if you had played this game

  • Interesting, i never knew a nes version of MM7 was released? freeeman's music sounds not bad here too. but i prefer the SNES better!

  • @actorflaw it doesn't this is a FAN MADE game called Rockman 7 FC

there's also Rockman 8 FC which of course is megaman 8 8 bit

  • @actorflaw there was no nes version. someone in japan built an 8-bit pc version from scratch just a couple years ago.

  • @thirtyoneuniform Hmm yeah it does look kinda fake and made up. i'm pretty sure the nes mega man stopped at mega man 6 and mm7 was only snes .8 was fo ps one and 9 is for xbox 360 which looks like nes on the system.

  • @actorflaw It a fan made well created NES Rockman engine.

  • @actorflaw well it's not fake, it's just not on the nes. google ver.final2 アーカイブ and check out the first link. you can download the entire game there.

  • @thirtyoneuniform it's still looks pretty creative though. i guess the maker of this video made this video for gamers who wondered what mm7 would like nes style.

  • it was like Megaman himself was playing the game. Good job!

  • Why does "Freeze Cracker." sound racist?

  • Do you know where I can find 8-bit sprites of the robot master icons?

  • I loved mega man 7 on snes. May not have been a big improvement from the other series but it had a really nice difficulty level which makes it one of my favorite mega man games.

  • @NintenToast12 So true. Actually, IMO, MM7 is one of the best Mega Man games out there. There are so many things in this game that brought Mega Man to a whole new level.

  • 1:49 Metal slug!

  • wow, its crazy how bias i am to graphics... i played the us version of this an loved it... if it was this i probably wouldnt have played it... even though its the SAME GAME

    im such an 8-bit racist

  • At least MM7 isn't MM8. That's a plus.

  • goddamn that polar bear is a tank...

  • Someone should really think of creating a Mega Man X7 16-bit version. Would be a big hit, I believe...

  • Awww I had 3 E-tanks,i got my password and closed the game, and then i played it later on,i put on my password and my tanks were gone...why?

  • Where can I download MM??

  • I saw Zerg in the purple walls

  • @Lonefox310

    www7 . atwiki . jp / wakuwakusuru / pub / final2 . zip

    Remove the spaces.

And personally I always preferred Classic over the X series. I'm undecided over the Z series.

  • I'm happy with the SNES version, but unfortunately, some fanboys' brains can't get past 1994. -_-

But the NES version of MM7 is also nice! :D

  • Why do people have a bone to pick with the SNES MM7? The music's great, the gameplay's great, and the levels are fairly challenging. People bashed it back then, and some people still bash it.

Then this 8-bit version comes and people are like: "OMG BEST GAME EVA LOLOLOLOL!!11!!!!1!!!"

    Seriously... -_-

  • @arthurarneiro Because the SNES controls were too bulky and stiff. Not to mention the field area was pretty...small too. It wasn't really well suited for him sorta. When he is in a 8-bit, his gameplay runs a lot smoother, a bigger field area, etc. Oh btw. Rockman 7 SNES was the first to introduce extra animations when the weapon they're weak to is used on them. Making it FAR more easier....

  • @blzdout blzdout, the same things you've just typed are in Mega Man X, and everyone seems to love that game for some reason. Also, MMX was the first to introduce weakness animations, not MM7.

But, really, what does MM7 have that MMX doesn't?

  • @arthurarneiro It because Rockman X is under a new system that supported the SNES. While Rockman 7 was trying to use the NES like system (which didn't turn out too well honestly)

"MMX was the first to introduce weakness animations, not MM7."

In terms of first game, yes that correct. In terms of Classic series. Rockman 7 is.

  • @blzdout "New system that supported the SNES. Mega Man 7 was trying to use the NES like system." What are you talking about?

  • @blzdout I could be wrong but i'm PRETTY sure Megaman X introduced them first, it's been a while so I could be mistaking though.

  • @blzdout EXACTLY!. I still not to sure though if because Megaman's animations were stiff it just felt like the controls were stiff or wether the controls were stiff. I still don't know why Capcom doesn't put this and 8-bit Megaman 8 on PSN, Wii VC, and XBL. I know exactly what you mean about the field being to small to. I don't know why messed this up so bad because the X series (all be it I like classic better) had X move very smooth.

  • @arthurarneiro thank you!

  • @windkai Thank me for what? Was it something I said? :D

  • @arthurarneiro yup exactly. Megaman 7 for the snes was like one of the funnest games i've ever played. I just find it funny that there's so many people who hate on it just because its 8 bit, when the 16 bit plays far superior to it. Honestly people have nonstalgia stuck far up there's behind that it kinda makes them seem a bit communist. XD.

I mean seriously, if this game had another title besides megaman i betcha people wouldn't have a problem with it. But since its mega and not 8bit...

  • @windkai I know, I really hate people with their nostalgia goggles on, especially if the subject is Mega Man. And, you know what I really hate? People saying that the Mega Man franchise should have stayed 8-bit, and I hate it EVEN MORE when these same people praise the MMX franchise, ignoring the fact that it's 16-bit and beyond.

  • @arthurarneiro

    It's called Dickriding brentalfloss.

  • @ZioIsPwnzor Yeah, a lot of MM7's hatebase came from brentalfloss' fans. I just blame brentalfloss a little, the big part of the blame should be placed on his fans, who probaly didn't even play MM7 to judge it.

  • @arthurarneiro "eva"?????

  • @ElHuevon142857435268 "Ever" in dumb internet noob form. ;D

  • How about 16 bit for the other games?

  • @Supermariofan14 Great Idea! But I guess we already have The Wily Wars on the Genesis... but we still don't have MM9 & 10 in 16-bit. ME WANT 16-BIT NAO!!! >:O

  • @arthurarneiro Yes, I never understood why they went back to 8-bit in a modern console.

  • @Supermariofan14 Fans brought Rockman 9 and 10. Fans wanted it in classic form more (since most complained about Rockman 7 and 8 the most due to being too easy and etc). That why.

  • @Supermariofan14 I love MM9 & 10! But, if anything, they should have given us the option to change between 8/16/32-bit (not including 3-D graphics because you know what a fail the new MMX games are). That would satisfact the fans! :D

But unfortunately, Capcom only listens to those whose minds can't get past 1994. -_-

  • Freeze Cracka!

  • wow wily created a terrifying large polar bear robot and designed it to push ice at you...

  • turn down the charging up sound its too loud

  • This is a cool idea and all, but it's almost unplayable. It'd be loads better if it had the option of using a joypad. I play all my emulators with an adaptor that my PS1/2 controllers plug into.

I tried this, and... honestly, I got maybe 2 minutes in to Freeze Man's stage, and I had to shut it off. Playing with keys is excruciating. I'll just play the SNES version, thanks. >.>

  • @outlier1985 That really doesn't mean it unplayable because I did this all on a keyboard. Anyway. You could always use a 3rd party program such as joy2key to use your controller to play this.

  • @blzdout Yeah... I was showing this to a friend, and they pointed me to that exact program. After working out the configuration, I'm having a blast with this game. It really IS better in 8-bit. Though I must bow to your skills for pulling all this off with keys. o.O

That being said, HOLY FUCK, TURBOMAN'S STAGE. >.<

  • @blzdout I was with outlier1985 on this topic when I tried 8bit MM7 for the first time, and then I was introduced to joy2key. Made all the difference in the world.

  • @outlier1985 blzdout is right, i thought the same thing espicially cause the a and b buttons arnt even set right on the keyboard, but just download a program like joy2key designate the buttons n u can play with a controller

  • cool!!!!!

  • Freezeman for me is my best Robot Master... He utilizes the boss room weel from ceiling to floor... too bad they didnt give him enough power boost for body crash and attack power damage. he could've been the hardest mm boss ever created!

  • How cool. You start off with the Rush Jet!

  • MY FAV BOSSS :3

  • oh i know its on the GB console... but how i wish they will remake it on the NES platform like MM7 :)

Or do u mean they already made it???? if so, pls send me the vids or link.

    ty.

  • i wish they will make megaman world 5 in 8 bit...

  • @shiningcrystalbit Rockman World 5 for GB ? It is already......

  • @blzdout I think he means proper non GB 8bit, like full blown color proper everything. like the good old NES.

  • download link......NOW!

  • @projec64 Google is your friend, just type in Rockman 7 FC

  • i WANT this game NOW.

  • I'm impressed by this conversion of my favorite original series Mega Man game.

I hate how Freeze Man doesn't do his little "bring it on" handgesture.

  • y 2007 de?

  • can you give the download link for this?

  • Even in 8-bit, FreezeMan still fights like a fricking maniac. I think he's the only Robot Master smart enough to jump over the player's shots. Unless that's just his pattern, it's been forever since I played MM7.

  • It somewhat built in his AI. When you shoot while he is in a corner, Freezeman will jump over it.

  • Don't Metal Man and Crash Man jump when you try to shoot at them? And Jewel Man jumps when you do.

  • I think they do.Don't really pay attention to those 2 to be honest. Jewel Man.....not sure. Played the game only once...

  • much easier then the snes. He is much taller in the snes version so its hard to time a jump over him

  • The name "Turbo Man" reminds me of the movie "Jingle all the Way"

  • intense

  • is this a fan made 8 bit recreation game?

  • yeah..

  • thats cool how did u do that?

  • where do u download this and do u need a nes emulator?

  • no. it's a program.

  • Freeze Man is just as badass as Metal Man

  • How do you make the framerate that good?

  • Yes, and so clearly you couldn't care less about the music because you don't bother trying to adapt to the music...

It's a very annoying sound if you hear it 99% of the time... The tunes is one of the things that makes the megaman series so great.

imo the chargeshot was the beginning of a decrease in popularity of the series. MM 9 is an epic game and better than 4, 5 and 6 combined. I'm glad they got rid of the chargeshot.

I was looking for the NES Freeze Man tune so this was a miss...

  • Gee... I don't understand why you would insist on me hating it. I have the 16 and 8 bit versions as mp3 files before.... It is just a play style I adapted since X series. Rockman 9 is just simple without the chargeshot and easy from my point of view and I'm still using the buster to make the bgm. So yeah whatever. It a playing style I grew up with since I have first owned the Rockman X1 cart when I was 3.

  • And about those 99% calculations. Not a accurate amount. I would say about 70-89%.

  • You run around with your weapon loaded to the max 99% of the time.

It takes 2 seconds to load up but you run around with it even when there's no enemy in sight. It kills the tune.

Thanks for complimenting me on my observation skills.

  • Still doesn't prove it. If you really have noticed in any of my sidescrolling rockman games that uses a charging only character, I'm constantly charging no matter what. It just how I play.

  • this player doesn't like the music obv

  • What in the world told you I didn't like the music. Your observation is just... wow.

  • Well said, blzdout. It's a matter of gameplay style. :)

  • Yay someone needs to hook me up with a download of this game too. Please!

  • do you know were i can download this game?

  • Is there any way I can watch this video in widescreen? Without having to put it on the tags?

  • Using some video editor. Or recording it under a widescreen.

  • Yo put this in the video tag! yt:stretch=16:9

  • It look very bad in widescreen... best not.

  • Okay. :)

  • the music is wicked. Sucks about the glitching, but good playing. I always wondered why you skipped that Exit item, but then realized you pretty much didn't need it after demolishing everything in your way. I wonder why they cut out the intro theme on the SNES version?

  • FreezeMan looks tough to beat.

  • If this was the beggining then how do you have RJ?

  • Are you aware that I didn't use the final version ?

  • lol. ur use of the rush jet means u dont trust ur jumping skills xD btw are u using a actual controller playing this or like a keyboard cause i assume u downloaded this?

  • Keyboard and it was kinda glitchy there so I took a safe route.

  • oh. thats some pretty good playing there then xD

  • wow some things look like the original i like both versions^^

  • Capcom need to make a 8-bit remake for :

    - MegaMan 7

    - MegaMan 8

    - MegaMan & Bass

  • and the wily wars

  • Dumbass, wily wars is just a 16 bit form of Megaman 1, 2 and 3

  • can you please send me a download link

  • whoa they could of made the charge beam sound a little less quite

  • スーファミ版とは違って(フリーズマンとの)戦闘が始まって放っておくとフリーズマンが挑発をする仕草がないね。

  • where can u download this? can you send me the link ?

  • I have the newer version... And I don't have Rush Jet...

  • How did you get Rush Jet!?

  • Nessa versão ele não chama o Megaman pra mão.

  • For which platform is this game? I know a Megaman 7 but it is for SNES...

  • PC Fan made game.

  • OK, I already get it! Thanks anyway

  • freeze man is one of the most badass bosses of the game

  • fact.

  • I don't get why fans are dogging MM7, I liked it as it was, because the graphics were about the only noticable difference; aside from the drama surrounding the ShadeMan stage... which I also thought was truly a highlight of it. (I'm glad to see that was retained, too!) About the only MM game I liked more than 7 was MM3.

MegaMan 8, I can understand being down on a bit; because it killed the action-packed pacing, and looked *WAY* too cutesy. And the adjusted pacing is going to make a remake odd.

  • Compared to the 8 bit version. RM7 & 8 both had bulky controls and slower gameplay. That probably why because the 8 bit versions are alot smoother to play.

  • I wonder if the same guy will release Megaman 8 for NES Roms...

  • It was never a rom. It a pc program. And yes. He is doing Rockman 8.

  • Thanks!

  • are you using the default keyboard config? If you are, then thats pretty skilled.

  • Yeah. That the default keyboard configuration.

  • how do u pause in the game i press nay possible button o_e

  • Q key.

  • Freeze man is the most pro robot master I've ever seen/fight. I didn't find out about the "he doesn't start till you do" untill this was release, since I never really tested it on snes. But he was hard, and he was hard for me on my first play through of MMBN2

  • You missed the exit program.

  • I know. I didn't want it. Neither do I really use it.

  • What I like about this game is when you use a weakness weapon on the robot masters they don't do gay stuff like fall over or cry. They bring it no matter what. I think that's what sets MM 1-6 & 9 apart from all the others. This game rocks by the way. Everyone should play it.

  • Yeah, it adds a new level of difficulty to the game. I find this version to be more enjoyable than the SNES version.

  • Is this an actual rom, or a PC fangame? It's hard to tell.

If it's a rom, though, I could play it on GBA. :P

  • PC fan game. It impossible to be a rom.

  • Freeze Man is just that intense. Gotta stare him down first.

  • I Wanna Play!

  • this game is way better in 8-bit

  • holy shit that fuckin polar bear took for fuckin ever to die

  • I know, why did they make him stronger?

  • idk but i like it.

  • IIRC, he's always taken that much damage to wipe out. ^.^

  • Any download link, again? =P

  • The music sounds much better than the SNES game in my opinionb

  • Well, I mean of course. This is technically downgrading the music, though it's still really cool. :D

  • Where can I download this game?

  • So awesome...I think I would rather prefer this than SNES version. I played almost all the classic Mega Mans (I got Anniversary Collection), and, to be quite honest, I wasn't a huge fan of Mega Man 7.

  • thats awesome, now if they can only do 8, when 9 comes out, the Megaman 8bit series will be complete

  • agreed

  • What if they made 9 like 8!

    9 Is out now.

  • I had no idea what joy2key was. I looked it up and after messing around for awhile, I got my controller to work with this game! Thanks for the tip about joy2key.

  • Can this only be played with a keyboard?

  • unless you know how to use joy2key then yes. i used a keyboard for this though.

  • they didnt make a nes rom of this? its just some shitty computer program?

  • no. having a nes port of this will crash the nes itself. backgrounds and etc are a bit too advanced for it.

  • Where could I find or download this awesome game? I wanna play it so bad. This game looks and plays better than the SNES verison. 8-bit is the way to go.

  • Shit. I can't play with the Keyboard

  • This SHOULD'VE came out in the US!! This would've kicked SO MUCH ASS! Megaman was, and always will be, PERFECT with 8-bit style!

    OLD SCHOOL MEGAMAN FTW!!!

  • It's a fanmade game. It's not an official release

  • Fooled me! XP

  • The music is well done. It remains true to the icy feel of the stage. Got any links for the music?

  • is this a real nes game or a pirate? just wondering.

  • not even for a nes system. idk if i can call it a pirate since it was made for the pc.

  • It's kind of rare for me to ask a question but how do you Maximize the game screen?

  • the version i had had a option to raise the screen size. the modern version. idk.

  • Don't slip!

  • how do i get this game. i thought this was only for super nes

  • Where can I play this?

  • This looks awesome, i allways thought Megaman looked A LOT better in 8-bit , this new crap we have now...is...well, lol CRAP. Even tho i like playing the old 8-bit megaman games, i sucked awfully at them D; the only megaman games I've been good at is... the Megaman Zero series, ZX, Rockman & forte ( i owned the japanese cartridge thing.)

  • HOW DID YOU DO THIS?

  • After watching a couple of vids from this "port fan made"(lol). I can only say one thing: "It has a better feeling than with the snes graphics", I don´t know you guys, but I playing this game really makes me feel like in the old 8 bit mega man era.
