Actually, it is the non-Indigenous people in Australia who are discriminated against because there are many government-based financial benefits for Indigenous people which are disallowed for non-Indigenous people. Indigenous people are disadvantaged, which is perhaps what you meant to say. They are disadvantaged as a result of centuries of various problems, including those forced upon them and those they perpetuate themselves.
