yes, a lot of people underestimate a focus. specially high schoolers with shitty hondas. handas are good but the ones they drive suck ass. great video man.

@dbwrestler17 and compare the focuses built by highschoolers to the hondas built by highschoolers. Now compare this "World's fastest turbo Focus" to any number of N/A Hondas running in the 10's...see where this could go?

@Arayanrevenge yeah I see what you mean I think. lol but I have never seen a high schooler drive a focus to be honest. in my town they think that stock hondas and v6 mustangs are the fastest things on the street even though there is cars here like a 2009 Aston Martin Rapide, 2009 Corvette ZR1, 2011 Shelby GT500,etc they shut their mouths when they see my 2003 SVT Focus out run their hondas and v6 mustangs like nothing.so yes a honda in the hands of someone who knows how to work on them is better

Nice run but you might be able to improve your time a little more if you can keep it out of the rev limiter.

Banging the rev limiter is just slowing you down.

@sleak112 It doesn't look like he's spinning the tires and if he is spinning them then that's another area he could improve his time because you aren't gaining speed if you're spinning tires. Honestly there is no reason to bang the limiter like that. What would you guys do these days without rev limiters? Just blow'em up every time you race? Believe it or not, people use to race cars without rev limiters. Some still do.

@Dogurasu Its obvious to me that he is spinning his tires. A close friend of mine has a 12 second turbo focus that doesn't hook very well in the first 3 gears either. This guy has slicks and I would assume a limited slip in the tranny. Traction is the down fall of a fast front wheel drive vehicle.

@Domnaek How the hell would RWD make it any faster? It's not going around any corners and the weight of the engine over the driven front wheels will help.

AWD weighs quite a bit more and has roughly 10% more drivetrain loss than RWD...It's good for getting out of the hole,but once the rwd car that it could theoretically be racing catches traction it will be able catch up due to weighing less and putting more power to the ground(assuming both car's engines made the same hp.

That was horrible shifting but true he had no traction, however I doubt thats the fastest, not everybody races so its really rude to title the fastest focus.

@Jekrael yeah, but that can be said the same for sports like boxing, basketball, football, etc. the ones that don't put it out there competing does not count. but 10s from a svt focus is still impressive none the less. i would hate to be the v8 picking a fight with this little 4 banger.

@hartattack940 Yeah your right. Also the car would be alot faster if it could actually get traction thats why hes bouncing off the rev limiter. I think with a bigger/stickier tire combined with a lower air pressure and this Focus could be one of the fastest full bodied Focuses out there. Its one thing to have a tube frame car with a focus motor and a fiberglass body that looks like a focus but to still use the original chassis is a true challenge.
