  • screaming chimpanzees! It's a FOX!

  • what kinda noise is that? XD

  • フェネックの鳴き声と言うのを初めて聞きました。フェネックは犬か狐かどちらですか?

  • @nukohiroshi

  • Poor Little Guy )': Shes SO CUTEE !

  • "I see that open hand. Why is it not PETTING ME?!"

  • "my psychopet"

  • I hate to see that Fennec videos get hate comments because people don't understand the sounds that they make.

This fox is NOT upset or in pain. Look up any fennec videos. They make sounds differently from cats/dogs and this one is actually very happy.

  • @XxMariahPANICxX i agree with you. it's the same with groundhogs. i actually got to tame a wild one at a place i was staying at just by singing to it using country, blue grass, godzilla vs mothra type songs, and anime songs. and believe it or not, eventually i could go up to the hole, sit down, and have it come up to me. it really seemed to enjoy it. i named her morning glory.

  • Needs more cute and less screaming

  • "Get that camera out of my face! I'm trying to sleep here!"

  • what's wrong with poor thing?

  • it sounds like a monkey. lol

  • lol it's his base

  • For anyone who's wondering, that's the fox's "pet me!" yell. Not in pain or anything.

Cuteness overload!! it even has a blanket!

  • @shichan Foxes are actually related closer to Dogs than cats. That being said because foxes and wolves are closely related and domestic dogs are related to wolves. While foxes are not directly related to domestic dogs, they are directly related to wolves. Therefore they are in fact Canidae. Vulpes Canidae to be exact. But they are not Canines with is the Canini family. That is wolves and dogs

  • What are you doing?? Get that camera out of my face!!! Lolz cuuuutte

  • Foxes are canines. Homo-sapiens and canines have a LONG, LONG history of living and working together. Recently, a 16 thousand year old grave was found containing a human and a fox.

  • @muttbutts correction, foxes are vulpine. close, but not completely canine.

  • @shichan

Vulpes is a genus of canidae, therefore foxes are in fact canines (you can't have an animal that's 'not completely' in whatever family it's in. It either is or it isn't.)

    Learn2biology.

  • @bluenudibranch kinda like how you can't be "kinda pregnant?" and excuse my not-knowing-ness. i didn't pay much attention at the boston museum of science. i've always considered a fox a little bit too......feline-ish? to be completely dog-ish....if you get my drift? it's hard to explain. they're like the perfect combo if dog activeness and cat....er....whatever it is cats do.

  • fennec foxes and foxes in general sound like they're dying when they're actually happy or excited

  • What most people who want this Fennec to be released into the wild don't realise is that Fennecs do not sounds like dogs or cats when they are happy. They squeak and try to nip you to show affection, this animal isn't in pain or angry.

  • IMMA HAMMOCK MONSTAH!

  • Everyone quiet! I have pets, and they don't think they are enslaved. They think of it as being with their best friend, and DO NOT TRY to free a pet from a breeder or pet store, as they are domesticated and have not ever lived in the wild in their lifetime.

  • those are some charming noises that fox is making!!!

  • sounds like my wife, BOOYAH!

  • is it a monkey or a fox? lol monkey noises

  • letting a tame fennic into the wild? sure, why don't we take a baby and toss him in a cave and hope he just HAPPENS to know how to be a caveman.

i love the noises the fennics make. they're very loud and expressive. it's great. XD

  • lol! cute but not a good singer :x

  • 可愛い

  • LOL pause at 0:29. Funniest face I've ever seen an animal make.

"Wise guy, eh? Tryin' to lose a finger, eh?"

I've got tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

  • I bet it's hard to tell what fox noises mean. When we hear cats meow or dogs bark we can usually guess what they want (food, to be let outside, etc.) But with foxes, they probably sound like their in distress, but really that's just the only sounds they can make.

  • @Morrisseys7thFriend lol very true !!! as they also make thoses sorta noises when they are happy or exicited

  • I got my boy a hammock once. He wouldn't use it. So I got him a plush box to sleep in. Sometimes he will climb on top to crush it down. Then sleep on top of it instead.

  • ok, so lets let a TAME fennic fox back into the wild, that doesnt know how to survive or hunt? GEE I wonder what will happen?

    lol.

  • @stepAKApets

Um, let me see, what would, and does, happen to feral cats and dogs. Genius. But I guess you dont see that as wrong, do you?

  • @stepAKApets uh derp who said they would let it back into the wild?

  • @stepAKApets I think there's a high chance it would die.

  • Some animals aren't ment to be in captivity but that fox was probably breed into captivity and this person looks like they take good care of thier fox so it's better to have someone who takes good care of it to get it then someone who doesn't (and it's already tamed so it would die in the wild) and I believe as long as you have proper housing and are able to take proper care of it then it's okay to have it as a pet ne?

  • "Some animals aren't ment to be in captivity"

That is purely an opinion and not some sort of scientific fact. Animals aren't born with "domesticate me" stickers on them. Fennec foxes can adjust well to captivity.

No one thought it was cruel to domesticate the wolf or to continue to breed and keep dogs as pets. >.>

  • @Fleefles - The most likely course for wolves becoming domesticated would be that some would hang around human encampments to get food. This would especially be true if they were some how broken away from the pack.

  • @PandaChan164

I wish there were more people like you on this sort of thing. As a VTA I think this matter for most is based purely on opinion, not facts. I agree with you 100%, not just for exotics though, for all animals.

  • stfu.. you're an idiot

  • Yes! My fox loves a hammock :-))

  • Wow.. angry fox in a hammock. Very strange combination :)
