Perfectly acceptable way for the federal government to do business, and a great, FAST way to find talent outside the usual RFP process. It's called "crowdsourcing."
Why did ya'll change the rules? The new rules are unclear: which ones are the "finalists"? Also, the "you choose the winner" thing just turns this into a popularity contest...and it's not very hard for people to "stuff the ballot-box" by voting multiple times via different IDs.

The response to our Flu Prevention PSA Content has been amazing! If you submitted a contest entry & do not see it posted yet, please be patient. We are aware of potential technical issues with entries & are working to ensure we have as many qualifying entries as possible.
One issue involves a problem whereby entries were submitted before the deadline but did not show up as a video response. We have accepted these videos into the contest & are working to have these entries show with the others.
I see they are finally posting videos that got dropped due to the system glitch, but still don't see my own one minute "Pearls From A Swine? Case Of The Swine Flu" on the response list. Let's hope all are found before the ten finalists are selected.

The government shouldn't be giving a dime to Baxter International. Why pay a company that "accidentally" contaminated flu vaccines with bird and swine flu, mailing them out to labs all over the world. If it hadn't been tested on lab animals first, who died, those vaccines would have been given to people. Baxter is at the very least criminally negligent.
I posted a response a few hours before the deadline and it is the next day and it still didn't show up? I posted it correctly and I wonder what is going on with the system. At the deadline time there were 197 responses, the next moring 204 responses and now 203 responses. The numbers seem strange to me. Was there a limit on new responses???? WIll the other ones be looked at that don't appear under the responses?
There is some kind of glitch in the system that has shut out dozens of videos even when following all steps precisely as instructed. The many hours of work and dedication by many people are being excluded from competition thru no fault of their own. Those videos should be included in the contest as the only fair thing to do. I have faith in Secretary Sebelius that she will allow the dropped videos into competition even if the deadline has past. They were in fact submitted on time.
My faith was well placed. Mine and most, if not all of the other dropped videos are now on the Response list. We may or may not win, but at least we all have a fair shot at it. In my humble opinion, there are at least 30 or 40, maybe even 50 submissions that stand a good chance to make the top ten. Just making it onto that final list would be a great honor. Myself and family members posted video responses to the H1N1 contest but they are not showing up as responses? The time has passes for any thing to be redone?
Be sure and upload your video AND submit as a video response. I found it to be a 2 step process. Don't forget to submit your form. You do get an email and it posts fairly quickly.
If you have just uploaded you need to go back into your account and post it as the video response. You will get an mail when they post it. Remember to submit your form also. Once we did it correctly, it only took 15 minutes to show up.
Now my question, I've posted video responses now and they are not showing up. It's been the same 170. Are they approving each video before it's posted too?
okay, having a technical issue with a post. My PSA is 60 seconds, but it's showing a total play time of over 2 minutes and it cuts out at 1 minute. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Be sure and upload your video AND submit as a video response. I found it to be a 2 step process. Don't forget to submit your form. You do get an email and it posts fairly quickly.

If you have just uploaded you need to go back into your account and post it as the video response. You will get an mail when they post it. Remember to submit your form also. Once we did it correctly, it only took 15 minutes to show up.

since i went veg, i haven't caught a flu yet. (knock on wood) It's been 4 yrs that I'm healthy. Before being veg, I caught the flu every year since childhood. I think the antibiotics in meat weakens our immune system, try out fake meat, it taste good and very similar. Try the "Au Lac brand, it's yummy. Wow, I've been reading through the comments on here and some are pretty ridiculous. I want to say that I think this contest is great because it shows everyone the benefits of healthy habits.
