Billy Lee Riley was right up there with all the Sun cats: Jerry Lee, Carl, Johnny, Elvis and Roy. Shame he didn't get his due share.
Elvis educated himself on the meaning of the song and really brought it to life. Tony Joe White's version is the only one to equal Elvis'.
