joliet, il looks just like this too! well, it was switched to a new location with just chuck. But the original location, which used to be a Showbiz Pizza, had all of the robots. many memories.

Was he singing to the crazy bird cheerleader? I just went today. They were so creepy. I played one game and it got me 102367 tickets. It took like, 3 hours or more just to get all of the tickets out!!

Lol you think tihs is creepy, the 'band' in my city hasn't been updated in like 15 years. The cretures not only do the sing and dance, but they're basically falling apart, and they dont function properly. But those shifty eyes still work, that's for sure. As a kid this was the scariest thing I had ever witnessed.

There have been seome changes to the looks and costumes over the years. And there is a new show every 3 months. There are also at least 3 different types of stages and robot setups. Many people actually come to see this particular setup (3-Stage) because many of them have been removed and replaced with something newer (search for Studio C).

Last time I went to Chuckecheese had to be almost 15 years and the character robots & set up & all is exactly the same. You would think they try to update the characters and looks and performances.

If you remember Show Biz Pizza and the Rock A Fur Explosion show active in the 80's, you will notice that this 3-stage Chuck E Cheese show is a cosmetic refit of the Rock A Fur Explosion robots to make them look like the Chuck E Cheese Characters.

That's the speed Munch's Make-Believe Band moves. A bit slower than the Rockafire. Also consider you are looking at them on a small screen instead of seeing them full size right in front of you.

I was always scared of these things when I was a kid....the dog had one eye that never opened, and the creepiest thing was when the show was over it went black, and they were all looking down at the stage. Its really creepy looking through the curtains at them!

I don't know about the other locations, but the Chuck E. Cheese near my house only has animatronic Chuck E., and not the other characters anymore.
