Imagine you were born in Slovenia when your mother and father were living there because of their jobs, but both your parents were from Jamaica. Or imagine you were born in Norway but left Norway at 3 months old and were brought up in China.

Imagine you were born in Slovenia when your mother and father were living there because of their jobs, but both your parents were from Jamaica. Or imagine you were born in Norway but left Norway at 3 months old and were brought up in China.
My point is that nationality speaks of the culture in which you were brought up.
Citizenship and nationality are NOT the same thing.

And she's been living in Austria for her whole life but she says she's polish whenever someone asks her. I guess that it depends on the exact person.
If she calls Poland her home country and finds herself polish, that's her decision and so be it.

@camillobian Alicja isn't Mexican because of obvious reasons-her parents are Polish, she was born in Mexico as her father worked there for a couple of months. Scorupco is Polish because her parents also are both Polish. In Poland,as well as in Sweden there's ius sanguinis which actually decides of your citizenship and it's based on your parents' citizenship. She obtained Swedish citizenship through naturalization,but has no Swedish blood. Bradley's dual citizenship, because his mother is German.
