  • he'll be paying taxes soon. elevation partners owns 1.5% of facebook so bono will soon be a billionaire, taxed on capital gains in the US i think... anyway, who really cares?

  • What Bono doesn't understand is that here in America rarely anyone is of a single national origin, or even claims a single one. We're all Americans and him trying to bring that old world conflict crap over here is frowned upon to say the least.

  • Bono is so natural here...love it!

  • He says "You know" a lot

  • they seem to get on very well :)

  • George Clooney's voice is brilliant. He could probably say anything and it would sound cool.

  • Bono is Amazin !!!! He's true to his fans who to him their opinions matter and flip the middle finger with a smile to all those who dislike him... What a great man he is ;)

  • As a straight guy myself I must say Clooney looks dangerously handsome here. I wont be showing this to my girlfriend

  • Love the part when Bono say's i never witness the singing..lol...Irish heart..Irish love..Irish forever....Cbono

  • wow so great that celebrities are using their star power for good... wish more people were involved in making changes. hope movies like Attack on Darfur will help inspire change...it's supposed to be incredibly powerful. can't wait to see it later today!!

  • 'still very mad at the english'.... 'good on them' ...haha!.... well.. *plenty* to be mad about.

  • The Irish - A truly paradoxical people. 'Yeah fuck the English - Oh wait the U.S is just an extension of the British Empire'

  • Fuck england

  • I was waiting for Bono to njump right out of his cahir and plant a big Wet One right on L'il Goergies lips. What prevented him still escapes me! Interview = Much a do about nothing!

  • George Clooney sounds like the guy from the Mens Warehouse commercials, "You're going to like the way you look, I guarantee it."

  • Here's an idea. How about trying to help the victims of US policy instead of nations extremely removed from US power? Support for brutal regimes like Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt is something you actually CAN change. All this nonsense about Burma and Darfur is pointless and an easy way for US celebrities to grand stand without threatening the people with the power in their own circle. Palestinians are suffering because of America.

  • 1:18.... bono does a total david brent.

  • @loknloll Yep!

  • I wish the interview had been longer. is that it? 5-6 minutes total? Darn...

  • I'm so excited Anderson could put these two together! They've been friends for a few years since the both have organizations that help raise awareness on poverty and refugee issues

  • Who's Bono kidding? He's never over here. He now lives in the States. He comes home, Ireland, when he has a project on. The only place U2 plays in Ireland is Dublin, I like u2 but Bono is a Wanker.

  • Is Bono a musician, an ambassador, an interviewer or what. Thats just my opinion. JACKASS........

  • Who are you Bono's bitch? Yeah, big deal he's rich. Much richer than you'll ever be. I can't argue anymore your mom is coming over to give me a BLOWJOB........

  • I agree with brs1704. I love U2's music but he's a self righteous plonker. Still looking forward to the concert in Croke Park.

  • they still live in ireland, he spends more time in U.S cos his daughter is in college there ... u know cos he's a good parent !!!! Dublin is where there main home is and always has been.

  • @jumpforjoy6 they don't only live in Ireland...they live in the South of France too

  • @jumpforjoy6 They live in Holland to avoid paying tax on their millions, they are tax dodgers.

  • @AZUREGLIDE

That doesn't make sense since the Netherlands are a high-tax country. From what I know the whole band, minus Larry who still lives in Dublin, resides in the US. Which is of course much better than the craphole they're coming from.

  • @AZUREGLIDE

From wiki: Bono and his bandmates were criticised in 2007 for moving part of their multi-million euro song catalogue from Ireland to Amsterdam six months before Ireland ended a tax exemption on musicians' royalties.

Quite a fishy law but like you said it effectively makes them tax dodgers. It's amazing how an individual who's sitting on several hundred million dollars still has the nerve to beg half of the world to chip in.

  • @Corbon440 that's just being smart about business...you would do the same thing

  • @Corbon440 They only start doing 'charidee' work and lecturing everyone when they have millions in the bank! Bonzo is a huge hypocrite and this 'interview' is a love in

  • Looks weird Bono interviewing George

  • is there more =(

  • is bono an interviewer now? that would be so cool!
