Obama was elected based on his promise to change Washington politics. These were voters furious with earmarks, insider deals and a lack of transparency. They were the many Americans who held Congress in historic low esteem. Sad, this new bill. What a letdown Obama is.

People elected Obama because the election was essentially a referendum on President Bush and it would be monumental to elect the first black president. With Obama's nearly 10% unemployment, I would say that jobs are a bigger priority. There is a big difference between Reform and Government take over. With the recent elections the Dems, who had a passing majority but couldn't pass it, are now trying to push a small version of what has already been rejected, down our throats.

Saying I'm not comfortable with what we currently have in power is an understatement. Like many other people, I not only disagree with the democrats polices, I feel no connection with them on a more personal level. They were passed by a majority of representatives who were elected by a majority, i.e. they were passed democratically. People elected Obama because the election was essentially a referendum on President Bush and it would be monumental to elect the first black president. With Obama's nearly 10% unemployment, I would say that jobs are a bigger priority. There is a big difference between Reform and Government take over. Funny thing is the insurance lobby donated the most money to Obama 50 million dollers. They will get tripple on thier investment the same as the unions did for spending 250 million dollers to help get him elected and they now own 50% stock in gm. Plus theirs is the only insurance plans that wouldn't be taxed. How's that for honesty? If you want to quote the bible why don't you look up the parable of the women who where given the oil?
