They could have put more characters in I guess, but it has the best gameplay out of all the Godzilla games if you ask me.

hmmm...that is a definite deciding factor. hey, since you've played all godzilla games, how unleashed? i know its been ketting real harsh reviews, but it has all tghe charcters i want, plus more! you think it's worth a rent or a buy?

Unleashed has a better story mode and fan service with all it's characters. Melee has better graphics and smoother gameplay, but more arcadey. Melee is better for a party game but Unleashed is more fan friendly since melee's story mode has a crappy story mode. So I recomend Unleashed for single player and Melee for multiplayer.

Loved this game! =D Wish the new one wasn't missing some stuff this had =( Like Rage, fire lighting, normal cites (non apocalyptic), and choice of night and day for every city. Still a great update to the best fighting franchise ever! =D

I was playing the gamecube, so once you pick up a RAGE power up just hit A and X i believe. I am guessing the ps2 version is like square and triangle, or x and square. It works on all of the monsters too, you just have to get that rage powerup.

Godzilla 90i is the "normal" one, Godzilla 2000 was only 2 time in a Movie GMK Godzilla looks like 90i again, vs. Mech and Tokyo SOS ook like 2000 again but blue beam so Godzilla 90i and Final Wars..is Final Wars

Angirus is indeed an amazing character. I love the way they integrated the quad-bi pedal movement.

in story mode destroy buildings to find atari logos which unlock gallery items. plus play as mechagodzilla 2 and fight megalon and give him an uppercut :D

I agree with you. It's a fun game and the graphics are better than most of those new sucky movies that show up on the SciFi channel instead of Gojira flicks... If I had some form of digital camera, I'd film my rampages with Mecha King Ghidorah....but I don't, lol.
