Thank you. I enjoyed the video. My wife and I went to the Greenwood Cemetery on Easter 2010 to visit the grave of Henry Draper, a 19th century astronomer and physician who had an observatory in Hastings on Hudson. He died at 45 of pneumonia. It is truly an inspiring place.

@louloubeb Den Pariser Friedhof kenne ich noch nicht. Aber der Doroteen Friedhof ist wirklich sehr schoen. Vielleicht bin ich dem Brooklyner Cemetery in einer Minute auch nicht ganz gerecht geworden. Wenn Du selber durchlaufen wuerdest, waerst Du vielleicht auch mehr beeindruckt. Oder auch nicht. Ist ja auch ein anderer Stil.

@NRWTraveller Das hoert sich so an, als haette ich etwas fast Unmoegliches erreicht. :-D Bei den Kommentaren zu meinem Prospect Park Video fiel mir das erste mal auf, dass es viel in NY zu sehen gibt, was Leute nicht erwarten. Es sind hier nicht nur Hochhaeuser und hupende Autos. Allerdings gibt's davon auch echt viele. Deswegen wohne ich auch in diesem lieblichen Brooklyn Viertel mit viel gruen und Atmosphaere.

Vielleicht drehst Du hier bald selber!

Ich hatte Glueck mit dem Wetter und der Uhrzeit - da hat sich eine tolle Atmosphaere und Licht-Schattenspiel ergeben. Und im Schnitt ist das dann wohl eher unbewusst zusammengekommen. I'm kinda sad as well I love to tour cemetaries for me they tell remarkable stories, family histories not to mention the wonderful craftsmanship of the stonemasons. Today it seems a marble slab will do or even just a granite marker, nothing to compare with what you see in your video. Good luck with the "shirty". Graham

@ghough12 Hi Graham. Yes, you are absolutely right about the camera - and I feel the same way about cemeteries. Especially in Florida (it seems) there is this trend of a big flat lawn with tombstones just laid flat in the grown, so that lawnmowers can easily mow across them (so it appears). So sad when I think of the beautiful old parks that honor the dead and invite us to share and imagine their stories.

@EdEditz Thank you, Eddy. Although I have to admit that I "cheated" and used my friend's GH-2 again. It definitely creates crisper images. Now I can just imagine the comments: if you're already lugging around a DSLR, why don't you also bring a tripod? Because leaning on a tombstone or against a tree is a lot less conspicuous, I don't have a tripod holder on my bike, etc.
