who remembers the show Boom in nyc? there was meat beat manifesto, and others (dj's)..lsd haze haze i cant' remember those other performers from the life of me. But, it was still around NASA days in NYC. Well anyway, that was an amazing time of my life!
I saw Mark Gage (Vapourspace) perform this track way, way back in good old London town, his 3ft mixing desk was about 2ft from the floor and he stood up, bent over his mixing desk and tweaked, damn i wish i could turn back time. Just to damn gooooooooood.
I had never even heard of any of them when I went to that party, and have never gotten to see them live again. It nags at me because feel like I should have paid attention. I also remember going into the side room and hearing this crazy music and asking this guy what I was listening to. "This is Jungle Music" he said. It was Soulslinger of Liquid Sky -Fong, MPOTT
Holy sh*t! So I was I.. It was my first rave ever. Was it the one put on by NASA in NYC? It was part of the See the Light Tour with Vapour, Orbital, Aphex &Moby.. I remember seeing Moby in his leotard looking like Ed Grimley dancing in front of his sequencer and thinking 'who is this tool??....
thank u mr mark gage for the BEST techno track EVER!!

i'm impressed by this video. it really has that early '90's quasi-industrial/rave club thing down. very appropriate visual treatment.
..and obviously the track will always blow me away. a mind voyage through the cosmos. mark gage made some great tunes.
