I HIGHLY recommend Live Clean products for your body and hair, they have an amazing color protecting shampoo and the coordinating conditioner. All natural, paraben and sulphate free and biodegradable. Google their website. I use their hair and skin products and for my child. If you really want to get your hair it's healthiest, these products plus a macadamia/coconut/Argan oil treatment/mask will sure do it :)

If your trying to have healthy hair and still want to color it, you should try using henna! Lush sells really good henna, but theres other places you could find it. You should look into it! It seriously conditions hair, is natural, and is permanent!

As a cosmetologist I can tell you that all hair color that uses a developer is damaging because it has to lift the cuticle layer to deposit color, also box color is generally 10X more damaging then professional color because it is formulated for the most resistant hair types! Paul mitchells awapuhi wild ginger is able to repair up to 80%damage and is color protecting, it's all I use and smells amazing especially on extensions!!

if you use JOICO KPAK RECONSTRUCTION TREATMENT ur hair feel a lot healthier in one use. its a 20-30 min process but well worth it.. its a little pricey but worth every penny. I own a salon and i use that for all my color clients.. they love it.. now if you go get this service in the salon it ranges from 20-40 dollars .. but like i said its well worth it. but you can also but the supplies from salons carrying JOICO

If you want healthy hair in a red colour, you could try henna. The colour comes up differently for everybody because it combines with the colour your already have. It is permanent, but it's ACTUALLY natural (not like so called 'natural' chemical dyes (doesn't even make sense)), it's good for hair, safe for your body and the environment. Look into it :) You look beautiful

As far as I know you can dye your hair with Henna naturally. But it does not last as long as chemical colors.

That hair color really does look beautiful. It looks good on you. Auburn hair looks good with corals and greens. Red colors do wash out really fast and when they do they either turn pinkish or grayish. Solid colors that are dark are better for your hair, but they don't fill it. You need a color filler for that otherwise it will come out quite quickly.

The darker your hair color the harder it is to go lighter. Red is just hard to color correct.

Nope, black is not at all as hard to get out as red, I bleached my black out in two bleaches, but with red I just had to let it grow out... But it's super pretty!

ps- JOICO K-PAX is the most AMAZING shampoo and conditioner, you should get a trial (but be warned you will become addicted, not only does your hair smell good- a bonus, it will be SUPER soft and shinny and look like pure luxury! Ive tried everything from Bumble and Buble, Biolage, grocery store brands, you name it adn JOICO is the real deal! A little pricey but well worth it for amazing hair I think.

@aJudithc92 non perm just coats ur hair strand so it will fade much faster with sun, washing, etc... perm penetrates in the hair strand so it takes longer to fade and will leave some kind of color residue even if its red which fades faster

ummm but red fades a lot...hence you have to completely dye all over and constantly. what they mean by solid color is dark colors that are manageable, like brown, dark brown, or black. not a color that fades and you have to keep up with it all the time. technically this isnt a journey to healthy hair video!

@jocelovely14 Red hair is the hardest color to maintain because it fades so quuickly.Try using a sulfate free shampoo or a color saving shampoo you can find these at ost drugstores or salons.Also do not shampoo everyday if need be use a dry shampoo in between.And try to rinse with cool water.
