ok i use a westfeild sg and as much as i try i cant tap plz tell me is it me or my equiptment

Maybe you need to lower your action(string hight), because sometimes when it is way to high it is almost impossible to tap.

dude, get yourself a set of strings, and learn to play it as soon as possible because it's an awesome instrument and your feelings will be like "geez this is awesome" when you will play your first perfect solo :)
