I am in awe. Seriously. I saw some other people on youtube who play this song very well, but nowhere near your level. It sounds almost identical to Joel's. In fact, some parts are even better than his. They have more character. Brilliant performance! I wonder how long this took u to learn. It's my dream to play it for my father. Joel is his idol.

@pstickel1337 I once had a compilation book of Billy Joel songs, and this was in it. It was very difficult to play, as you might well imagine. I lost that book, but I know it had almost all the essential elements of the song in it. It is possible that some embellishments would be required, but it is basically the song you hear in the original recording.

This is great!!! You make it look a lot easier than it is and the people getting sheet music to learn it are going to have a hard time. I have a version of this at the end of my video if you're interested in see another version (I've got a different arrangement) but you'll have to listen to a little classical and some eagles, first.

AWESOME work there... if you want a suggestion, (not that it sounds like you need them much) mine would be that you decide exactly how you want the right had runs like the one at 2:23 to sound. Which notes are most important, etc. It's fast and solid in your hands and you sound very capable of making runs even more musical than you did.

Very good, but a few parts were shaky there (Hey, I wouldn't do any better ^^ ). And there's the one part where during the main theme you're supposed to hit the triad with the top octave a few times, you left that out. Do you have the sheet music for this? Your version is really close and mine is in C and not anything like this.

That's really awesome, some of your fingering is nearly exactly what Joel himself uses in concerts.

The only thing I could begin to suggest is to have more fun with it; move around a bit! You never want to play it too robotically, especially with such a fun piece like this. You mastered the piece, now make it your own. ;-)
