I found these close to the sound from my b&w p5 maybe less treble detail but at least guitars didn't sound like a mashup of cutlery on nirvanas nevermind album like the p5s do. Bought them as a pair to wear in bed with my ipad. So comfy like an extra pillow!

i saw DJ headphone that where better then these but they are about 3 to 4 time more expensive. i own a pair of mogul and my friend have a HDJ-2000 professional dj headphone by pioneer. the sound of the HDJ-2000 was better but the biggest difference was the build quality.

And i am waiting on the beats pro. because my friend will give me the HDJ-2000 when he will gets his beat pro.

Reviewing this product has NOTHING to do with whether or not I have used "high-end" models (By the way, I HAVE, and I still love these). @CodysTechReviews I work for the audio review section of CNET, so I do have the authority. My point is simply, if those where the BEST you've ever owned..Then you have no idea what you are talking about, as those are only mid-range models with a mid-range model price. If you do own high-end models then you wouldn't have said: "This is the best pair of headphones I've ever owned."

@PDvdw1994 I don't care who you work for. You could be "Lord of Music", I don't care. you have NO authority over me or my reviews. If you disagree with my review, that's fine. But to say that you have authority over me? Wow. And what does the price range have to do with these headphones, or my opinion of them? I like them. They ARE the best I've owned. That means that I like them better than anything else I've used(including "high-end models).

@PDvdw1994 I know I'm barging in but isn't the "this is the best pair of headphones I've ever owned" a matter of OPINION? There is no right or wrong answer because the answer varies from person to person. Clearly, this is the best pair of headphones HE'S ever owned. That doesn't make him wrong.

And price has nothing to do with quality. I've owned tons of low-price items that were better (quality wise) than the higher-priced items. Just sayin.
