Well as long as he kept practising that coz at the time of making this video, anyone can see he would've face planted it if he tried it without the pit.
So when he gets the triple layout perfected, you gotta upload it coz I wanna see him (1) land UPRIGHT in the pit not on his stomach, then (2) land it for real.

Hmmmm.... Judging by the angle of him trying to land it, he (or anyone else) wouldn't be able to stick that. If he tried that for real, he'd face plant it. I don't think anyone could do a triple layout or High Bar and stick it.
Actually, there was a research study done in 2004 using computer modeling to see if a triple layout was possible. They found that with maximal effort and a small margin of error when releasing the bar that it would, in fact, be possible. They also found that a double twisting triple back could be done with more room for error than the triple layout. Here is the paper:
