Walk around here at nightime - it's really beautiful & serene, you'll see the odd executive walking around, but it's full of cctv and security and has nice seats to sit on and lights coming out the ground and elegant jet sprays to see. There's security guards around too. It really is an architectural beauty - and next to little venice canal & paddington station.
It really is beautiful & has been built up so quickly, with hotels, jet water sprays coming out the ground, stylish shops, bars, ever so modern and it lights up at night - check out little venice canal & it's restaurants next to the paddington precint & it's hotels and apartments. It's safe & beautiful walking around in the night too, there's an area of green land inbetween these elegant tall silver buildings with lifts and steps where ppl socialise in the summer eves, stylish gyms & bars too.
@Nixupiz3 yes the new apartments in paddington are sickenly expensive ... there's traditional beautiful white houses in leafy romantic little venice, a lot of millionaire houses & properties, as well as social housing & you can find affordable housing if you look around. :) In London, the rich & poor live side by side. You have expensive properties next to ppl who have similarish type apartments in traditional victorian houses for free. But obviously grand type houses/apartments aren't cheap.^^
2008 most expensive countries in the world 1.london 2.oslo 3.dublin 4.copenhagen 5.new york 6.zurich 7.geneva 8.tokyo 9.helsinki 10.paris =) We love london whatever! :)
I love this development. How people can criticize wonderful architecture of today is beyond me. Some people only seem to care about old buildings. Architecture today is far more breath taking.
so true, but i love the old architecture of europe because i'm so used to the new here in NYC so please don't knock that stuff down, lol!! i need to see it!
Despite the global depression, there's so many guys in London who are just loaded.
