Nice job. Would it be possible to get the Atari paddles working on this? Pong just feels at home with analog and the Atari paddles are still my favorite for analog control.
Thanks! Yep, it's just a matter of figuring out what kind of signal the paddle sends out. It may just work, as-is, if it sends out left/right signals like the joystick does.
Fuck yes, son

Have you made any progress in adding the sound?
Also, how much did it cost to make it?

can you make it go faster?

How did you program it, I think I saw 2 chips on the board, was the other chip a RAM or a ROM with the program on it?

Ok, now I see there is only 1 chip, so how did you do it, f****** amazing!

XGS Pico Edition, I have one too. Really nice Pong!

Yep, essentially the same thing. The software is all custom however. Including the NTSC generation, and joystick code.

Game Institute or XGS Pico Edition.

realy nice :D 80MHz for pong ^^ :D
NolDSx 3 years ago
haha thanks. Ya I know, 80mhz is insane for pong. But most of that is being used for NTSC signal generation.
