Even though you did what you had to do to get the effect, it worked. Another way to do this would be to let your video roll continuously and when you drop the footage in your editing system, delete frames to get the FPS you want. Good job, and it only took 20 min? I'm doing my first time lapse this monday. It's been raining, so I'm hoping for some huge cumulusnimbus clouds.
I hope it turns out! My camera does not take a very high quality video, so unfortunately it would not look nearly as nice. (and I believe that there is also some kind of 1 hour limit)
yep, this only was about 20 min, it was so windy the clouds were going like crazy! It was pretty much a new sky every 5 min.
