  • @PKTOPIKA789

    Its called replay ¬¬

  • @PKTOPIKA789 stfu noob

  • @ItachiChan123:dude just download the frickin game!!!!!

  • EBA is fun, but I love the Japanese song selection better!

  • Comment removed

  • Agents are Ready Steady Go!

  • Since You Inspired Me So Much Ill Post A Vid Response On This Vid My Account is 2DeathDarkness

  • and that is how you do a last level

  • pure awesomeness!!!!!!

  • how are you tapping? O.O

  • Replay.

  • oh kk thx

  • @Ivychandessu I think it is a replay of what they did.

  • meh, not too much harder than "Without a Fight"

    ... Agents are GO!!!.

    HA! Fullmetal Alchemist...

  • Stop all the downloading...im a computer!

  • So, you loved the game until you found out it was an american counterpart to Ouendan, so it instantly became terrible and not worth playing? Japanophile, much?

If EBA is so terrible, then why did Oeundan 2 include the Agents and the Divas as playable characters, and copy the opening to the final stage?

Besides, it's better to think of EBA as a seperate entry in the series rather than an "americanized" Ouendan 1.

  • No, Im not a Japanophile, I only think that games shouldn't be altered.

Why do you think, in general, games sell less in the US than in Japan?

Because for one, half of the American games are based on movies. And two, they alter things too much.

And no, I think of it as Americanized version of Ouendan.

  • 1) Name caling isn't nice

    2) I dont like sasuke that much anymore, I made this account 3 years ago.

    3) Make me :p

  • right, never change anything, so that cultural dissonance can punch everyone in the face with brass knuckles. Face it, the game would have been nothing more than a cult favorite if they just brought the original Ouendan over. by having popular English songs, they ensured that anyone familiar with them could enjoy the game.

also, by your logic, games that have actually been improved upon when brought to other regions, such as Doki Doki Panic (as SMB2) and Dissidia Final Fantasy are inferior.

  • Exactly - they feel the need to change everything.

Sure, it wouldve sold less, but it wouldve been better.

I can understand them changing the songs-but they changed EVERYTHING but the gameplay.

They changed the characters, and the stories.

It's basically a whole other game, they couldve at least let Ouendan be released as well as EBA.

But no, we can't have anything that might not sell well even though games based on movies are absolutely horrible, as well as "imagine diva" wtf?

  • What you don't get is that EBA basically IS a different game. Few people in America are familiar with all aspects of Japanese culture. Also remember that in America, cheerleaders are usually female. It's the whole cultural dissonance thing again. Just because something is popular in one country doesn't mean it will be everywhere else. Do you honestly think Nintendo should have left the game as is to please the 2000 or so mega-otaku like you who would have bought it, and lose money? That's sad.

  • It's stand-alone, by the same team, it's supposed to be American style, it's a SPIRITUAL SEQUEL, not Ouendan 2 at all. You're both half wrong. Chernobog only by omission, Sasuke by saying it's Ouendan 2 bastardized. The only reason they don't release EBA in Japan or Ouendan in America IS because of the difficulties of them. If the Ouendan team was allowed their trophy in Brawl, I'd say that America is fine with Ouendan, just not quite in the position to be receiving it. It'd get insulted.

  • many people aren't agree with you, but that's true, not even in games, but in movies always happens, e.g. x-men, dragon ball, and many others

  • @Chernobog2

Its not that the game is bad, is the very music that fucks the entire game.

  • Sure is weeaboo in this comment.

  • @Dageoffant02 "JAP"? FAGGOT, that's RACIST!

  • @boysforpele2 .... and you`re discriminating against a minority

  • I have EBA!! I want this one cuz they have some songs I really like!!Any one know where I can get it for a good price for a 14 year old!?! =3

  • Your best bet is either eBay or Play-Asia. I don't see how your age could affect the price, though.

  • XD Oh i got it!! lol i was sayin as in how i have no job what so ever....>_>

  • this song and level is EPIC!!! i especially love the scene from 3:15!

  • EPIC IS RIGHT!!!

  • XD It was soooo epic I found my self tracing the game on my computer screen with my finger!!

  • It's strange... the rest of the game seems so much harder than EBA, yet Jumpin' Jack Flash seems so much harder than Ready, Steady, Go! For one, in this you've just got four back-to-back spinners, with nothing in between. In JJF, those four spinners are still there, but you've also gotta deal with rapid-fire 13-note combos in between each one, which means you have to stay on your toes constantly.

I guess it's just a matter of opinion.

  • Actually it's harder than EBA 'coz it's japanese. Sorry I have the two versions and i prefer this one

  • I used to love EBA, till I got Ouendan. When you compare the two, Americans get stiffed on the difficulty, but you have to admit 'jumpin jack flash' is a good song to play on EBA.

  • You guy's this this is harder than EBA? Christ, maybe I've just been playing this too much. Anyway, Ouendan has my favorite track list, but Ouendan 2 has ultimate superior scoring mechanic. EBA falls in the middle when it comes to me.

  • This music is hard a lot in normal, I'm trying to beat it all the night.

  • This looks a lot harder than EBA, to be honest. Jumpin' Jack Flash is still a bitch though.

  • Am I the only person who found Normal harder than Hard? I don't know much about music, but it seemed like the Normal version was synced to some weird shit that wasn't what I could most prominently hear, so it was harder to follow - Hard seemed more in sync with the song.

  • no you aren't the only one, I think hard is easier than normal as well.

  • in over the distance, it looks like normal was easier than easy. in normal, sliders and easy, circles.

  • Ouendan looks more demanding than EBA.

  • me encante esa cancion por q es de l'arc y por que es el segundo opening de fullmetal alchemist, 5 estrellas.

  • is this a bot? how did u recorded it without using the stylus?

    L'arc~en~Ciel ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

  • He (or she) did record it with a stylus. The game is able to remember what you done and replay it without you having to use the stylus again.

  • ok thanks :)

  • This seams harder than the english one

  • There is an english one?

  • sure elite beat agents

  • Actually it isn't

  • uh, actually yes. It's the exact same game engine. The major difference is the music, which is entirely justified. Weeaboos just need to accept that 99.9% of Americans really don't care about J-Pop, for the simple reasons that a) people who don't know Japanese can't understand the lyrics, leading to b) those songs not getting airplay in America. If they localized Ouendan to the U.S. it would be a flop, pure and simple. The only people really interested in it have already imported/pirated it.

  • Very nice reply but you actually miss the point since we have a classic misunderstanding here. My sentence "Actually it isn't" was a reply to lamebrainvideogames' comment "This seams harder than the english one."

I love Ouendan and EBA and I'm well aware that they are basically the same games.

  • Yeah play-asia has all the awesome games overseas.

They are totally legit and stuff.

  • If anyones looking for the game you can buy it from play-asia

  • are you sure Play-Asia is safe you wont just be wasting your money right?

  • Yeah, it's safe. I preordered Ouendan 2 there, and got it fairly quickly after release.

  • for some reason, tears fall down my cheek when i play ouendan. . .

  • yeah, playing this song always gets me pumped especialy at 3:18

  • Theres really no better game that is also a work of art, Ouendan depicts that we can do anything if we truly believe in ourselves.

  • does the english version have this song?

  • do i really hve 2 go 2 japan for this game? if so, defiinetly not worth it...

  • nope..

not in the wonderful world of ebay..

    just buy it there..

the Ds is without zones, so you can play all games you can buy, with the small exception of chinese titles..

i have bought both games there and i can give you the ebay sellers names if you want:-)

just give me a shout and i'll dig em out..

  • Who did you get them from? ;)

Want to know a good import seller that sells GENUINE games.

  • checked both shops and it seems none of em sells ouendan anymore..

but just go there and search for that.. and make sure sellers has many sales and a positive feedback..

    and sends worldwide..

    its not that hard..

    good luck:-)

  • if all else fails and you really want this game then buy a R4 and steal it >:(

(note i did that cause im cheap, sue me!) :P

  • Should i get the japanese version or the european one? i heard the jap one have better songs.

  • Jp ver. is far better than Eur ver. IMO

  • certainly, eba was easier then the japanese games imho, but i spent weeks on the last song of eba just to get hard rock mode, when i only had to try 2 times for each ouendan game

  • Huh. I played Ouendan after EBA and felt Ouendan was easier.

  • i reckon ouendan is harder than eba because you tap in one specific course rather than getting all tricky

  • oh hell yea

  • DUDE! Is that the FMA theme song?!

  • Full version,Actually.

  • @XlastXresortX01X

    of course! =D

  • @XlastXresortX01X you are absolutly right!

  • @XlastXresortX01X

    OMFG, you're right!

    O:

  • Wow....its the japanese Equilvelant of Elite Beat Agents Final song Jumping Jack Flash

  • can I play ouendan via wifi

  • HYDE!!! lol that was unexpected

  • Good job dude. where can I get this song >.> ?

  • search fullmetal alchemist opening 2 :D

  • Man, you didn't make a totaly perfect, that means your life can be saved. o/

I'm satisfied playing at normal lvl. lol

PS.: how do you save the vídeo at Ouendan 1? I just could do that on 2.

    "EBA=ZERO"

    "Ouendan= OSU!!"

  • you cant directly SAVE a video but when you cleared a stage and the results come up dont press the forward button. rather press the OTHER button to view your replay.

  • aaaaa....so the 2nd game is beter...o/

  • Are Japanese games compatible with North American DS Lites? I'd like to know because if so...I'm buying this game!!!

  • I'm not sure, but there is the English game Elite Beat Agents, which is made by the same people and is very similar.

  • Yep, they are region free!

  • Yes, there is no region lock on the DS, my friend imported this game. Its awesome!

  • I see a couple hundreds ¬_¬

  • How come I can't see your stylus? Cheater :P

Crazy level though. I'm getting this game for my birthday next week.

  • it's a reply idiot

  • Some people didn't know about replays 5 days ago, because they only got the game 2 days ago.

  • replay* ftw.

  • Earth: "I'm Firing MAh Lazer"

  • should i import the game? :3

  • yes

  • how did you replay without that annoying signs at the side

  • You can't replay save but after you finish a song click the button on the bottom left. It'll show a replay. But you can only see it after the song. When you leave, you can't see the replay again. So that's why the stylus isn't used.

  • aw man, i love that song! i wish NOA would port this over to the US legally

  • hax?

  • replay =.=

  • can any1 messge me on how to replay save please please PLEASE!!!!!!!

  • A ****ing meteor shower?

  • are you useing the ds pen thing

  • He is, but he edited (Ithink) the video so that it's not in the way. A green dot shows where he's touching.

  • its prob just the replay he recorded

  • fullmetal alchemest

  • Whoa this song look pretty hard.

  • FMA!!!

  • that was kickass

  • who sing this song?

  • L'Arc-en-Ciel

  • can u only get the song on the japanese version or ?

  • I have a question. Can you get a "S" ALL 300 on Ready Steady Go on Normal. Can yah do it

  • Full metal alchemist. o_o

  • ñoño XD

  • shut up

  • I think you're misinterpreting the definition of perfect. The game and this video define perfect as maintaing a full combo (represented by the beat number in the lower left.)

He did pull this off for the length of the song. A perfect run the way you are referring to it would more likely be listed as an all 300 run.

  • You get perfect if you miss or tap a number too soon. Not when you have all 300.

  • You get a perfect if you don't miss anything. Not when you have all 300.

  • and 2:12...

  • it isnt perfecct, i saw a 100 at 1:17 :)

  • the reason there's no tapping is because its a replay

  • lol........ ever heard of replay or save replay?

  • LOl that song is laso the title music for full metala lchemsit Nice but the whistling of the balls would probibly get me confused with me masivly attacking the trackers o.o gratz u own thats like cheiftain on without a fight.

  • O.O

  • how much is it to import, because i want this game

  • It is about $50, it's kind of expensive but it is worth it.

  • caraca

  • Looks like the fusion between FF VII Ending and DBZ ending lol.

  • bravissimo

  • daamn you're so good :O :O :O

  • Ouendan VS Sepiroth!!! Even Sepiroth summons Meteor he won't stand a chance!!!

  • Isn't what they did similar do Holy + Lifestream? =D

  • Lovely music ;D

    Fullmetal alchemist =]

  • at 2:10 I saw a 100

  • there were like 23 100's in the song. 1 50. Amonamano never claimed to have an all 300.

  • I thought it was XD hah. my bad

  • Pobody's Nerfect

  • Because he never did say that he had all 300 stupid....

  • Yeah I know, that's what I just said. Stupid.

  • Ok, I have only one question...

How do you get it to replay itself? I thought you could only do that in Ouendan 2.

Well, that's what one person told me...

  • at the end when you get your score on the bottom left hand cornner you can replay.

  • 3:25 OMG manly tears!

  • everyone who says ready steady go is harder than jumpin' jack flash is wrong cuz whoever played jjf on medium has seen the 12 note streaks and were timed differently this video the difficulty is hard and the most is 12 and on hard for eba its like 15-16 note streaks also jjf im pretty sure is longer

  • ive played thins my friend has it and lets me barrow it X3 i can play on the Girls

  • I don't know where i've said this, but Ill say it here too.

-OTO has steady difficulty with slight rises in numbers of hit markers appearing on the screen at one time, save for the end of the last scene.

-EBA focuses on having a sudden rise in difficulty (the infamous JJF 12-hit markers).

Regardless, both are good games. EBA for those who have a broad taste in music, and OTO for those who like Japanese music. I do have both and do like both.

  • I've imported the 2nd game of this and it's awesome, I got the 2nd because everyone said it was better, but I wanted to know what the 1st one was like, so I bought it too and I'm now waiting for it in the mail.

I've looked at EBA's music and it was somewhat shitty.

  • Cause you understand English, mainly. For all we know, the songs OTO has may be terrible to Japanese ears.

Personally, I have a wide taste in music, so I enjoyed EBA.

  • Hmm... Maybe. But, we have too many classics on it.

I don't listen to music for the meaning sometimes, but only for the music.

  • That's not really a problem. Music these days are mostly either hiphop or rap and most of the time involves the singer wanting to get laid by his/her girlfriend/boyfriend. The time of inspirational music in mainstream has long been isolated and is now a rare form.

    Do not want....

  • Very true. I love music from 1990-2006.

  • I can't beat this song! It's so frustrating :P Especially when you see theses videos where other gamers got perfect scores and I can't beat just the song...

    Kudos to you my friend!

  • what looks harder? jumping jack flash or this?

i think jjf is a bit harder. but still good job, this loos hard

  • JJF is harder, this game's difficulty wasnt the highest...

  • Cheering Pandas = WIN

  • Ha! I have this song on my ipod! Cool!

  • my god. and i can't even beat it on regular. wow my self-esteem just to a severe beating.

  • OMFG o_O

  • I think i just had a seizure.

  • O.O

Japanese people in black suits doing jutsu as a dance XD woot!

  • wow not bad!!!

  • hmmm cool, nice play!

  • Oh NEAT! The intro from Fullmetal Alchemist!

  • hahhahahahaha

  • eagle1101:

No they don't. Did you even play the game? That game was the symbol of people going into the restaurant. Asians don't eat cats in RESTAURANTS.

  • I'm uploading the same video... you've got more 300's, but I have more points! :D

  • SO this is the japeneese form of the Elite Beat Agents ...!?

  • EBA is the english version of Ouendan, you got it the wrong way around.

  • Amo questo gioco e questa canzone... ma penso non faranno Ouendan su Wii, almeno non con questo sistema di controllo... sarebbe impossibile!!!

I love this game and this song... but I think there won't be any Ouendan on Wii, not with this kind of control... It would be impossible!
