Return of the Living Dead is a great movie. A bit dated in the 80's, but the premise of the story can't be beat, and the characters are awesome. Some very memorable scenes thoughout the movie.

Id say 8 and a half almost 9... yea its a Zombie movie but its really not... I mean its not like they focus too much on how everyone became zombies, they might as well have been wolfmen. Its more of a survival movie that is funny... the best recent movie I have seen in a while... not the greatest movie in history but it is fun and I think it will stand the test of time.

Um movies like zombie land, 28 days later and games like left 4 dead and resident evil 4 and 5 are not zombies they are "The Infected".

To be a zombie one rule applies "the re-animation of a corpse" that's it. None of these movies/games have re-animated corpses hence not zombies.

Zombieland in my opinion is the best zombie movie ever I even watched this 3 times before the DVD came in. I think zombies are the most versitile movie monster. I might be a bit pretencious about this, but they seem to be able to take on so many different fears. Fear of dying, the past, the mob, the individual (with the newer faster ones), the lose of oneself, etc. And they serve as such a good deus ex machina to force a group of people into a small space and have to work with each other.

The part of the movie with Bill Murray was one of the most unique and was incredibly well written... The end of Bill Murray's part was like the punchline for a joke that took 10 - 15 minutes to build up... This movie is a definite buy or rent.
