It's a great love story between them, the meeting of 2 souls I believe, but like in each couple, not easy everyday, when you are in love with an artist, you have to live with him, with its devils, his art, his passion for music, its problems with alcohol etc, its emotions and its pains, it is not so easy, I think, even if I believe Robert looks pleasant, livable, the art is a lifestyle.
Wow, they celebrated their 20th anniversary this year; that's almost unheard of in the music industry. It seems like she prefers to stay out of the way and lives a private life. Maybe that's why it works. Congratulations to them, and I hope all of you will find true love, too!

It's selfishness and unselfishness. Robert from all accounts doesn't want to inflict the ills of our society on an innocent child. That's his answer for why he and Mary don't have children. He also has like 17 nieces and nephews, so he's not without children in his life. Ulimately, I chose to think it's because they're so madly in love with each other that they want to be lost in each other's world.
when did u see a second generation of a legend is greater than his/her dad? of course there are exceptions, but it's like one out of ten thousand cases.
She used to work in TopShop in Crawley. I used to hang around with her: she was a nice girl. Don't see her any more but my mate Pete does - as he's Simon's (Cure bass player) best mate etc. and apparently she's still a nice girl: so lucky Robert Smith!
Crawley *was* a pretty small town, so everyone who liked music knew each other(same everywhere probably). I think Robert's M+D still live in the same house - Simon's down in the West Country, Robert + Mary are still is Sussex, Mat is in B'ton ... etc. so everyone is still not that far away.
