  • Really makes Sam Warburton's red card even more of a disgrace.

  • @tpm1983 spot on mate

  • Henry is a disingenuous fool. The video makes it completely clear. It was a vicious and cynical attack.

  • Graeme Henry i really dislike your attitude, aside from your coaching genius...

  • Choke NZ, Choke.

  • dirty fucking pricks. i cant wait for NZ to bottle yet another world cup in a couple of months time

  • "I mean, I think it is high time," indeed, a shame that Larry is gagged at the end of this video.

  • I would have liked to hear what Dallaglio had to say. Anyway, I read somewhere that this was their response to the apparent "slighting" of the haka when BOD pick up a leaf. According to Woodward's research, this was a ceremonial "accepting of the challenge" in Maori culture, but it looked as if Umaga and Mealamu didn't quite see it that way...

How they were never cited for this is beyond me.

  • the lions got smashed anyway brian o'driscoll is good but not that good to help beat the all blacks with the lions and with ireland so it made no difference on the outcome the all blacks were far more superior thats a fact

  • the british suck at rugby anyway

  • @NZ76ers Which is more recent 1987 or 2003?

  • @F10ert whats that got to do with this comment winning 1 world cup dosent make any difference the british teams suck at rugby end of story

  • It's a rough game, shit happens...

  • stop being fucking baby's when buck shelford got his BALL SACK ripped open he didn't cry about in fact he went on a scored a try.

  • This was frankly an issue that united all the British Isles in condemnation of that thuggery

  • fuck that news coverage it's an insult to my country, it was a cheap hit, they saw him as a threat and they tried to break his neck. If those fucking all blacks are so good why do they need to injure players to win games? Surely they can try playing fair?

  • Ridiculously biased New Zealand media... "or was it just a clearout".... THis was the single worst incident of cheating and dangerous play rugby has ever seen

  • The 2005 Lions were AWFUL...and 7 BODS in the backs would not have made any difference.....but yes it was an awful foul and should have been cited,,,,it was deliberate or reckless.

  • See a Toulouse player got a straight red for a spear tackle but wasn't half as bad as this one

  • It was a disgrace .they knew what they were doing taking out the best player in the world and the fact that they can't admit it was intentional after looking at that is just stupidity !

  • Thanks mate...its refreshing to see intelligent rugby fans still exist...I stand by my words- this was the darkest moment in All Black history...the aura and respect they were once held in was somewhat extinguished after this disgusting episode.

As for all the one eyed All Black fans yelling "get over it- this aint tiddleywinks" can you just imagine the outcry if Dan Carter was spear tackled off the ball and put out for the season....New Zealanders are shockingly one eyed at times

  • @Nomorecheats74 fair play to you admitting it

  • You must be blind if you can't see that was totally deliberate, theres clearing the ruck and then there is throwing a man head first into the ground whilst the ball is 10 foot away from play. I mean come on don't insult our intelligence. How can you defend something that is clearly deliberate and you can see clearly on video footage, its amazing the shit people want you to believe. Can i get a hallelujah from all you drilco fans

  • The controversy about this is due to two factors:

    1. The Lions management (Woodward & Campbell) trying to distract from how badly the team was prepared and how badly they performed.

    2. The IRB not taking any steps to punish the players.

I don't understand why it is referred to as a 'tackle' - a tackle happens in open play,. This was a clear-out at a ruck, or rather, after a ruck. I do not think they intended to smash his shoulder or his neck, but I think they did want to rough him up a bit.

  • You guys claim to know your rugby but you seem not to know who Bill Mclaren was? His thoughts on the disgusting Umaga incident echoed those of rugby fans around the globe- except seemingly for a few one eyed All Black fans....

  • @Nomorecheats74 Who said they didn't know who Bill McLaren was? and would anyone in the NH know who Keith Quinn is? and we all now that Quinnie was a far superior commentator and authority on the game than Bill with the cheesy catch phrases. And as someone who's in contact with the Rugby fans outside of NZ I'd say it's only the Irish fans and the bandwagon English fans who bleat on about it... oh and maybe the Scottish fans but who cares about them?

  • @Nomorecheats74 You're the one being childish, we are discussing rugby, but you can't back up anything you say, and make outrageous and foolhardy claims, over and over, so we have stopped listening to you.

  • @Nomorecheats74 It sounds like you must've made that synopsis straight away without giving us a chance, because at no stage have you even attempted to intelligently discuss rugby. You pretty much began with pathetic childishness.

  • @Nomorecheats74 I'm actually with you on everything your saying. It was a disgusting reckless tackle that should have been punished. And Henry and O'Driscoll never had a good relationship from the 2001 lions tour.

I believe that the supporters of the A.B are immature and pathetic as on the night of the second test in 2005 after the ABs won the game, 27 arrests were made, all of them New Zealand supporters. O'Driscoll has also said that the ABs fans hurled abuse at him whilst he was on the tour

  • You salivating Tana Umaga fanboys ever heard of Bill McLaren?

  • @Nomorecheats74 Ahahahahaha ass in the air, woody, fag!

  • But then- I suspect that they already 'knew' that they wouldn't be held accountable....Graham Henry's men are seemingly above the laws that bind other international rugby players

  • @Nomorecheats74 According to who? you? and all the other people who is jelous of their success? The reason this whole incident came to light was because the Lions lost the series badly, and needed to find an excuse, and now look, fools like you who believe everything they read in the media and can't recognise fact from fiction are still going on about it. Mission complete in the eyes of the media.

  • @Nomorecheats74 Yeah and monkeys might fly out of my bottom.

  • @truekiwijoker Hes such a dick ay

  • @SuperKiwibro Oh yeah of course, he's a joke. Don't you just love his patronising tone? and then he poos his pants when you don't take his word as gospel. Loser...

  • @truekiwijoker I think he's got a crush on BOD. What a douche.

  • @SuperKiwibro LOL yeah you're probably right he probably watches this all day and gets a woody every time BOD's arse goes in he air.

  • @truekiwijoker Ahahahahahaha yeah! it's probobly the reason for his marriage to break up, and he can't bring himsef to blame his imaginary gay lover, so he has to blame Tana Umanga, ahahahaha.

  • It seems even stranger to me that rather than try to construct an intelligent argument you would attack my heritage....perhaps you realise that you are fighting a losing battle defending Umaga's disgusting off the ball attack on O'Driscoll??

  • @Nomorecheats74 The arguement is it happened 5 years ago, let it go. I don't know what your problem is-probobly pissed off the All Blacks are playing the best Rugby in the world right now, but your just annoying, stop passing yourself off to be a kiwi and go away because you're not funny or intelligent.

  • @SuperKiwibro - I wonder if Dan Carter had been savagely and disgustingly attacked off the ball, injured, and put out for the season then whether you would be saying the old "get over it it was five years ago" line.....considering you Graham Henry fanboys are still howling and wailing about a French forward pass from 2007

  • @Nomorecheats74 Have I said anything about any forward passes? Have I said I am an abid fan of Graham Henrys? no, don't assume things about me or any AB supporters. And no, I would'nt be still having a cry if Carter got injured 5 years ago and was out for a season, infact, if Carter got injured and was ruled out of next years RWC I would be disappointed but it would be beneficial as it would bleed new players into the team, what is your problem with the AB's? do you follow rugby?

  • @Nomorecheats74 You are of course aware that Dan Carter has been taken out from a REAL spear tackle before?

And no, nobody is still moaning abut it.

  • @Nomorecheats74 Well where's this intelligent argument you're constructing rather than labeling me a one-eyed AB's supporter and other off topic ad-hominem guff? I've pretty much won by default as you don't seem capable of actually discussing the so-called "disgusting off the ball attack on O'Driscoll" LOL.

  • @truekiwijoker - The fact you use abbreviations like 'LOL' would suggest you aren't any older than 20-21, and your biased and rather embarrasing 'this ain't tiddleywinks' attitude shows.... I have been using intelligent and UNBIASED argument for months and you resort to pathetic childish insults. The fact is the entire rugby world outside New Zealand was sickened by Umaga's cowardly attack. Only one eyed and immature New Zealanders see otherwise

  • @Nomorecheats74 I don't think you could make me laugh more than you have by calling me immature. What a pathetic little hypocrite.

I have yet to see a single intelligent and unbiased argument from you. All I see is you repeating the allegations the Lions camp came out with, then labeling anyone who counters them a biased one-eyed AB's fan (without any debating) and repeating this dumb question of "how would you feel if it happened to Carter". Everyone can see who needs to grow up here.

  • @truekiwijoker Where do I start?....for a start he didn't have his hands on the ball...if you watch the footage the play was spinning out centrepark...Umaga and Mealamu took their opportunity to attack him off the ball....clearly hoping it wasn't caught on camera

  • @Nomorecheats74 Wrong, he was digging for the ball in the ruck, and the ball wasn't out spinning in midfield, Richie had it and was hitting it up, hence the ruck being formed just metres away, it was a clearout of a ruck, but neither player knew they had a leg each, accendental. Time to get over it buddy, your getting old.

  • @SuperKiwibro look at 0:29 the ball is in the air before he's lifted. By the time he hit the ground another ruck had already been formed. That said, they hardly wanted to injure him, and yes they would have lost the tour anyway. Doesn't mean we should twist the truth though. It was wrong, that's that....roll on 2011. You reckon you can win this year?

  • @jkino78 Hmmmm, look, my problem with this is that everybody wants to see these two guys get lynch mobbed when (lets be honest, put yourself in a kiwis shoes) the All Blacks are, and have been for a very long time, the best in the world. It doesn't take a one eyed cantab to see that, it seems that the U.K are looking for an excuse as to why their rugby is not to our standard, and can't admit we are simply better than them. That said, I thought it looked accidental.

  • @jkino78 As to them winning next year? maybe, we have had the capability to win every world cup thus far, but, have lost to the better team on the day, the team that wanted it more and played for it harder, but with the form the ABs are in this year, i'd say it would be hard for anyone up north to upset them. Too hard mentally I think.

  • @SuperKiwibro I agree, the ABs have always been top of the game. I think a 2 game ban would have been fine and then back to business. I'd say Australia are the ones to worry about from an AB point of view in 2011. You've got the French in the group stages so I can't see that jinx holding...I would say it should be hard to get away with a forward pass this time round ;) Best of luck anyway, they deserve a WC after topping the charts for the last 3yrs

  • @jkino78 Cheers mate, definately Oz the ones to watch, really matureing as a team, and still so young, agree with the ban, if it were nowadays it would have been a 5 week ban! Hope the game doesn't get to soft.

  • @Nomorecheats74 Hahaha he had his hands on the ball all right, and illegally. That's why he got his legs lifted, which made him let go and allowed the ball to be released and spun-out. That's why in the lead-up up to this incident you see Umaga protecting the ruck, turning his head to see where it was, then realising it was still in the ruck thanks to cardigan-man.

  • Name time and place Mr Morsey! Ha it amuses me that some inbred with a keyboard can call a fight! Trust me, I was a hooker in senior and rep rugby and a did a little boxing for twenty odd years and at 35 and 102kg I can still hold my own. Bring it on you pathetic little man....

  • @Nomorecheats74 Still lying are we? your full of shit. Fuck off back to your fantasy world you little turd.

  • @Nomorecheats74 LOL seems strange you'd call your countryman an inbred. If you're from where I think you come from inbred isn't an insult you should throw around.

  • @truekiwijoker - Im a Cantab

  • @Nomorecheats74 LOL then you'd be the last person to call anyone inbred. What boat did your ancestors arrive on then? which school did you go to?

  • @truekiwijoker What boat did your ancestors arrive on?? Is there a peron in NZ who knows this? are you for real?

  • @Nomorecheats74 LOL you do realise this is a question the cantabs often ask each other? and many of them can answer it...

  • @truekiwijoker - I can't! And I was born in Chch!!! Weird criteria to prove my bloodlines.....

  • @Nomorecheats74 Or weird that you'd pull a charade to pretend to be from NZ. There really are some insane people in rainybogland...

  • Comment removed

  • Or maybe you missed the forward passes??

  • @Nomorecheats74 You just proved you don't even watch the ABs, you obviously didn't see the game, otherwise you would've seen the amount we were getting penalised, and the head high from a saffa that he didn't get carded for, your a lying cunt, blah blah blah, I coach rugby blah blah blah I played it for years, your such a fuckwit, I hope somebody kicks your fucking head in.

  • Firstflaw the weekends game proved EXACTLY what I have been saying all along- that Henry's All Blacks are a 'protected species' and that there is one set of rules for the Boks/Wallabies etc and another for the 'Great Redeemers' team.

  • @Nomorecheats74 Do you honestly believe the CONSPIRACY that NUETRAL refs are ordered to give the AB's preferential treatment?

  • @wellingtonian2009 Yep. Have a look at the stats mate- and the Woodcock incident / McCaw incident etc etc (either that or they are the luckiest team in the world)

  • @wellingtonian2009 Don't listen to him, I think he's not all there upstairs. Abit special.

  • listen to you complaining moron irish. Fuck off from world rugby. Go find some other sport to suck at.

  • brian o'driscols a joke irealand should leave rugby to men and go play tiddle winks

    diddle dee fucken dee potatoes

  • @kinganddork Perhaps YOU might like to answer my question then?

  • @Nomorecheats74 Fuck your a cum-dumpster.

  • Still waiting for that answer Morsey. Surely you Graham Henry fanboys can answer my one simple question, you seem to know your rugby....Q-"How would you All Black fans react if Dan Carter was attacked off the ball and put out for the season?"

  • @Nomorecheats74 If you were really from NZ you'd know that outside of Auckland Henry is not a popualr All Black coach and is often criticised.

    Give it up.

  • Answer my question Mr Morsey. How would you react if Dan Carter was spear tackled viciously off the ball?? And put out for the season?? I suspect you might be crying like a little girl..(the kind who resorts to name calling on the internet)

  • I wonder if Graham Henry would have said the same "Its ridiculous and we should move on" speech if the lions had "accidently" spear tackled Dan Carter?

    Im thinking no...

  • And as for NZ winning the World Cup...well judging by all the crowing and arrogance coming from the All Blacks after beating an injury ravaged Springbok 14 man side the World Cup is won already isn't it? No real need to even turn up eh?

  • @Nomorecheats74 Fuck your a homo.

  • @Nomorecheats74 This morning just proved the All Blacks don't need

    a) A home ground advantage

    b) A 14 man side opponent (even if it is only for 1/8 of the game)

    c) "injury ravaged" springbok team

    d) to be leading with 3 minutes to go

    e) Dan Carter to be kicking 100%

To beat the crumbling Springboks. If you had any brains you would agree that the ALL BLACKS are favourites for the World Cup. As for the video, anyone is free to make up their own mind about what happened.

  • my bollox henry didnt watch de tackleat all!! asshole......

  • Graham Henry is a disgrace to New Zealand sport and the legacy of the All Black jersey. His constant 'smug grin' and arrogant attitude towards repeated sickening incidents like this are a big part of the reason a large portion of NZ rugby public detest him. The O'Driscoll attack was disgusting. The rugby world was shocked. Yet Henry (probably the architect of this game plan)sat there with a smug grin on his face gloating over his victory. Disgraceful.

  • @Nomorecheats74 if you dont like watching New Zealand rugby then don't fucking watch it you wanker, but don't join the band wagon if we win the world cup you fucking idiot.

  • @TheMorsey007 You are quite the intellectual arent you my friend? I certainly won't be 'jumping on any bandwagons' as I don't support Graham Henrys team after that Umaga incident. It was (as many international observers have mentioned) the single most disgusting incident and cover up in International rugby history.

  • for all you southern hemisphere doubters that say he never plays against quality opposition he has been outshining some of the SH's finest players in the magners league and H cup for years. i'm a munster fan and i'd gladly swap de villiers or howlett for BOD

  • @dropscones Totally agree with you there, he is one of the, if not the best centre ever. Up the Munster!

  • that footage was NOT available to the citing commissioner , the original footage was not conclusive enough to be able to pass judgement on....thus they had no case to answer. Had that footage been available Umaga and Mealamu would have both been banned .....but it wasnt , and they werent

    SO GET OVER IT!!!

  • Ehh sunflowery if that happened to your beloved carter we would never hear the end of it!' take off your rose tinted, I mean black tinted glasses an stop talkin bollix...

  • one word = cheats

  • god,..that is absolutely shameful!u are pure scum!nd as 4 da new zealand news-of course it was intentinal,..nd ur deluded 2 tink other wise!!.....SCUM >:-(

  • Imagine the 'All Whites' winning the 2010 World Cup, Rugby would be marginalised immediately in NZ

  • thats not going to happen ireland have more chance of winning it

  • of course it was intential nd graham henry obviously saw it!!!!

  • Cant beleave they did'nt charge Mealamu and Umaga.

That footage shows a spear tackle off the ball.

when it first happened i thought they would be out for at least the series.

  • That footage wasn't available at the time unitedforce, that's what this news story was about. Someone shot it from the stands, but didn't hand it over until four months later.

  • THIS footage wasnt available, ive seen the proper ones of the match which show the insident quite clearly. maybe the news couldnt show those due to copyright

  • Well you must have had different cameras to us mate, because at the time the replay was from the far side of the field and was pretty tough to see. The cameras nearer followed the ball and missed it. That's the major reason why the citing commissioner thought they had no case to answer.

  • chickenfillets74 I'm not sure you believe your own argument as according to your hypothesis, Ireland should be number 1 at football based on the fact that football is their number 1 sport????? I'm not going to call you simple minded or brainless as the evidence speaks for itself. ladiesmaneoin - reckless YES, intentional NO, and that's how the judiciary saw it. You have your OPINION and I have mine. CRY-BABY!

  • Not intentional. As for your comments about the ABs. How many times has Ireland beaten NZ? How many times has Ireland won the world cup? Wake up man. Your opinion when it comes to NZ has as much credibility as a fat man giving dietary advice. Sth Africa ranked no.1 at the moment, NZ 2nd, Australia 3rd . . . everyone else - who cares? CRY-BABY!

  • You are so simple minded it is unbelievable. New zealand has a small poulation but their first sport is rugby, irleand has a small population and their 1st sport is football(rugby is their 4th). I would be surpirsed if a country that had rugby as their first sport wasn't top of the list. Use your brain, it's there for a reason.

  • shut the fuck up it was intentional.....how they are classed as the best team in the world pisses me off they flop when it comes to the big time.ever world cup they are favouites and they haven't even got to the final the last 2 times

  • CRY BABY - reckless yes, intentional NO. Move on man. The supposed truth you mention is an OPINION. Just like the OPINIONS of the officials in considering punishment. Opinions based on interpretation of evidence.

  • It's as simple as this. They both should have served time in jail. It was scandalous. And de Kee-Wees know it too.

  • The lions wouldn't have won the series had this disgraceful incident never occured but it is a disgrace that the players got off without any punishment for the tackle. But how can people say it was not intentinal the players saw a chance to hurt O'Draiscoll and they took it.This was not a one off when the All Blacks came to Dublin that November Ma Nonu did the same thing and when the crowd reacted the nz commentators said we know what there thinking but just get over it already.Enough said!

  • Yes and the week before D'Arcy spear tackled Tipoki and yes we got over it.

  • BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD!!!

  • Not what the world expects from the All Blacks, especially their captain! Shame on Tana Umaga!!

  • here here. they should have banned and the NZRFU fined

  • haha ya new zealand have been number 1 for 19 years and how many world cups have ye won? by the way the 6 nations is the european champions and is more competive then yer tri nations. and ye only beat our so called shit hinekien cup winners in the last minute by a poxy try when all there international players were missing , hav a look at bod play u might be supprised how good he is

  • And how many WCs have you won, or finals have you been in for that matter? If that's the only measure of a team it's a wonder we bother playing any matches in the four years between at all.

BoD is quality, just like a hundred other guys playing top level rugby at the moment.

  • if bod is so shit then why did the all blacks do that to him. Hes a much better than umaga

  • Ever stop to think that maybe it wasnt intentional, and that noone targets a player to take them out?

Stirling Mortlock absolutley ruins the all blacks every time, so does Dusitoir, yet the all blacks have never tryed to take them out.

Yet you somehow think that BOD, who had been useless for the whole tour, was targeted because he was so good. He had just played the whole game against the Maori and the lions still lost!

Youre just being arogant if you think he was targeted

  • your an ass . the only evidence you need is to hear graham henry say that he didn't see it? i mean every rugby fan in the world seen itt but graham henry didn't see it? rather than say that he seen it and it wasn't intentional he just said he didn't see it and lets move on. in other words he was saying that it was a fukin disgrace and they should get banned and fined. cheats

  • Im an ass now? how about we hold off on the name calling and stick to the facts alright?

    1) I dont give a shit about graham henry. I dont even rate him as a coach. He has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion.

    2) I agree that it was dangerous

    3) I do not however agree that it was intentional or premeditated. Thats just ridiculous. Every single piece of evidence is in my favour.

    4) Cheats? stop being a sore loser.

  • im not a sore loser. i don't really give a shit about the lions to be honest. its just a bit of fun to me. the only reason that i even commented on these video's is because so many pathetic new zealand fans are saying bod is a pussy and it was not intentional. you know as well as me it was intentional and all the bullshit facts you make won't change mine or your own mind. you know the truth

  • No seriously. Im not trying to wind you up i just seriously beleive that it was unintentional.

The proof in favour of the theory that it was accidental:

*Umaga has a spotless record, no yellow cards. he even got an international fair play award (an award in which everysportsman in every sport is eligible)

*BOD played against the Maori and the Lions lost. That effectively throws the "They were scared of him" theory out the window.

  • i don't think they did it because they were scared of bod. i think they did it to take out the lions best player and to let him know that he is in a game and he better watch his back. but they could have ennded his rugby career or even left him in a wheelchair for life. i think that is cheating and is a horrible thing to do.

  • Okay, i think you are blurring the lines a bit there.

The whole "This is what you can expect you better be on your game" shit happens every game with every team. A big hit at the start of a match, a few words at the bottom of a ruck, thats just rugby. Furthermore, that is in no way cheating. The Irish are great at it.

I dont think thats what happened in this case though, i think that Umaga lifted him to clear him out of the ruck, BOD became top-heavy and fell. An accident.

  • yea ok he was clearing out a ruck. thats the funniest thing ive ever heard. watch the footage and let be the end of it. idiot

  • You are moron you know that.

Watch the footage at normal speed. You see Odriscoll contesting for the ball, Umaga lift him to clean him out and BOD toppling over.

    Clear cut.

But no, have to have this Irish cnt trying to look for negitives where they dont exist.

Jesus just stick to Hurling or Gaylick or whatever you fags are up to these days.

  • irish and proud of it mate

  • Figures.

  • Cut out the casual rasicm dude.

That goes for the irish guy too.

You should both get over it.

Intentional or not, it was over 4 years ago. 4 and a half Tri-Nations, 4 6Nation Tournaments, a World Cup and another Lions tour have passed since.

    Grow up

  • Sorry Mum.

  • for fck sake!! it was clearly an intentional tackle the new zealenders were trying 2 make sure of the series win and get rid of the threat of odriscoll . Cheating bastards , they should be ashamed

  • im sick of people saying nz did the tackle cause BOD was a threat...1st off it was an accident...they said sorry...BOD is a class player...but if anyone payed attention to the warmup games BOD played BEFORE THE TEST...they woulda seen his form..and it was TERRIBLE...NZ provincial players making him look average!

  • that was hardly an accident, BOD is the best centre in the world, look at the 6 nations or heiniken he won games practically on his own for ireland and leinster. BOD is always a threat. he'd make any team in the world. it was intentional

  • id put good $ on the fact he wouldnt make NZ...maybe in 2001 when he played in aussie he was the worlds best centre...not low...theres too many good centres in the SH...sorry...im not knocking BOD...hes a fantastic player and leader...but im just letting u the facts from down here...not your views from up there

  • bod is the best centre in europe...where the 6 nations teams are ranked 4th/5th/6th/8th/10th and 12th...woopdeedoo...thats all hes achieved...and his team leinster won the heineken...but the stars of that side were 2 southern hemisphere guys...contemponi and elsom

  • i'm fed up of people doubting bod, he's a very different player than he was back in 2001 much more rounded, he was absolutely immense in defence the past while something he wasnt in 2001 and he can still rip defences apart.

i do agree that elsom was unreal and leinster needed him but contemponi come on. he wasnt even playin in the final or for most of the semi. injured 15 mins in, johnathon sexton played both matches. much as i respect contempni leinster did it without him, not so much of a star

  • we down here are fed up of all irish trying to say hes the best player in the world...thats a joke...those are comments coming from people who only watch BOD play in 6nation 4/5/6/8/10/12 raked teams...imagine if the all blacks played in that comp....nonu,mortlock,de villiers, fourie, the contemponi brothers...brian lima conrad smith...these guys would KILL it in that comp and to be made to look like kings!BOD only looks great cause he plays vs B grade competition

  • "we down here are fed up of all irish trying to say hes the best player in the world"

    Hear hear.

  • if BOD was THAT GREAT he would singlehandedly win Irelands 1st victory over the All Blacks...like how Jonah Lomu would...all he does vs us is 1 or 2 good runs and 1 decent kick/tackle a game...nothing special

  • no1 can single handly win matchs...so shut the fuck up if it happened 2 dan carter in new zealand an he dislocated his shoulder der would b outrage...that sort of play has no place in rugby...end of

  • no we wouldnt actually...thats where your SOOOOO wrong!...he got a contract to Perpignan and in his 1st game they cut him in half and did a*Vertical*! spear tackle on him! ****DID U SEE IT!?****..he was taken off the field in his 1st game in the NH!..we didnt cry like how u guys do!...it was in the evening news...and thats it!

  • thers a bit of a difference between a lions match which is the penical of a rugby players career not 2 mention ben captain and fuckin playin 4 perpingan. by the way it was an ankle injury is why he fucked back 2 new zealand.wat ever u say it doesnt take away the fact that umaga an meaulama done him

  • a spear tackle is a spear tackle!...thats got nothing to do with what team hes playn for...he RECEIVED a spear and NZ didnt cry!...u get a spear and 5yrs later u STILL crying! POOFS!

  • ok now i know you're actually talking shit, obviously you got a big chip on your shoulder about something.

we up here are fed up with all your arrogance and egotism.

have u even watched BOD play?

i've seen from your channel you just go around talkin shit on other videos, trying to rise people. get a life.

by the way dont know where you pulled those playing figures out of. ireland has a 11,500 senior males compared with SA with 190,781. thats about 16 times more. its our 4th most popular sport

  • arrogance and egotism?...perhaps u cant handle the truth...youre the 1 saying BOD is the best player in the world...Ireland is awesome...but ireland hasnt really done anything...a 6nations title...woopdeedoo!...magners heineken...WOW!...all im saying is for 20yrs since the world rankings started a NH team has been #1 for 19 and a half years..im not being arrogant about the fact..its just the truth!...so we dont take to critisizm too well when people from the north say theyre better etc its carp

  • ''i havent seen it,'' yeah fuckin right

  • Yer would u would say that wouldn't u, u stupid all black coach! The all blacks are soooo cynical and that spear tackle was bloody on purpose. My dad was there and he knew it was. x

  • i wonder would we just 4get about graham henry if it was dan carter that was speared ya fuckin prick.

  • dan carter did get speared in his 1st game in europe when he played the last season in france for perpignan...which also led to his injury...but NZ didnt cry like u u poof

  • @846204 The difference is DC is a good player.

  • kiwis would have said they did nothing even if o'driscoll had broken his neck

  • graham henry u wanker.

  • @ladiesmaneoin you mean "winner".

  • shameful tackle!

  • yes he was a very friendly player but the evidence there realy doesent look good now u can see it form BOD 's side if he wasent injured so bad it wud be let go but his shoulder exploaded out of the socket but the fact is the lions did not deserve to win they poot clive woodward in charge who wanted to mannage soccer and was a mostly english side the welsh & irish finished strong that year why wasent the team mostly them but a few english did preform come scrum time that vid realy dont look good

  • Tana is a complete fuck bag who should never have been alowed on a rugby field!!!!! no matter wat kiwis think....

  • Tana played for the ABs for 8 years and played super 12 for 11 years. Can you even name another incident he was involved in other than this one?

  • KiwiNJ

He helped that wales player when was knocked out by jerry colins tackle. oh sorry that was one of many good things he did. : )

  • PHILLIP 184820 LOL your a joke. Look in your own backyard b4 you start throwing stones. Springboks should band due to biting there opponents you FUCK BAG

  • Brian O'Driscoll Is a Cry Baby its just a game and mistakes happen in Rugby. I will always look up to tana and he was always a friendly player this is only 1 mistake.

Brian O'Driscoll is just a big cry baby for going on about it he should just man up and handle it..He sucks anyway lol Tanas was the best Center in the World and noone will ever be as good as him.

Irish will never be as good as the All-Blacks

  • dude wtf tana is a dirty bastard i am irish and i live in south africa and in both countries he is regarded as a dirty player.... and every country i go to that plays rugby regard him as a dirty player.... (and a shit manager)

  • BOD actually moved on pretty quick, after Umaga said it wasn't intentional, BOD said there was no more point talking about it. Most of the fuss was made by the british camp as they felt that justice wasn't done, for what looks like a horrific challenge. Then again, when the enquiry is held by the NZ RFU in NZ, justice might be a fairly unrealistic expectation. Tana might be a legend of the game, but that sort of thing shouldn't go unpunished, no matter who does it.

  • its cimical the way he says he hasnt seen the video but says that there was nothing in it... retard

  • O' Driscoll shoulda been red carded and banned for diving

  • its time to move on as "sourpuss" henry says but the fact is his shoulder diddnt dislocate itself and hoe they got away with it is farcical

  • I'm sorry but there is way too much pride from the NZ team, in every match! if you did something wrong ok say so but people get pissed and hold onto it cause a small group of people refuse to say yes that was wrong!

you would prob find that if they did people would say ok it's done with!

  • Move on.. These things happen.. It was wrong lets move on..

  • its sad that arguably the greatest rugby team in the world have such a habit of completely brushing the really dirty stuff under the carpet and ignoring it. remember when they stamped all over JPR's face? they refused to accept any blame what so ever.

  • Those two incidents are separated by 30 years, is that what you call habit?

It's sad that everyone feels the need to bag the ABs at any opportunity, as if some British players haven't done anything bad before mate.

  • good point bro

  • dude take it when richie got speared in the aussie game a couple of years back... the bitching done then by the ab's was unbelieveable... how is this any different

  • Mate that's not true at all, maybe a few boos by the crowd etc. but that was it, people definitely didn't talk about it for months after. Most people realised that Tuqiri didn't do it on purpose, just a bad tackle. I can tell you one thing, he ce
