True, 4x4's do loose more, but not that much more, an FQ 320 would still have much more @ the wheels than the standard 212 bhp of the RS, even the standard 276 bhp EVO would have more at the wheels. And you must be a very good driver with more balls than the EVO driver cos not much will handle better then an EVO
when my rs was standard i had an air leak which was impossible to find so i had to have a rolling road diagnostic to find it.. my standard focus rs model 196 pulled out 225 bhp and was totally standard at the time!! fords reason for this was as the car was bought out in a rush the earlier models were putting out a little more power an they had trouble meeting the c02 regulations as the cars were going over the 212bhp..hence they bought out a new map for the ecu for the rs..my car now is 330bhp!!

my focus RS when it was std was better around donnington park than a FQ320 evo, i was faster and handled just as good.
4x4 = more transmission loss, evo's are a great car but the focus RS is a little corker at handling
