Feinstein made a big mistake.

She begins with, "What I'd like to establish, once and for all, is who put the names on the list to fire what are now nine U.S. Attorneys."

Then she recited a list of testimonies, but then ended it with "Who approved those names?"

That's a different question than what she started with, and easier to dodge.

How could Feinstein make that mistake? Was it intentional?

I'm going to go with Finstein having had two separate questions on her mind, and getting the two mixed up as she was setting up the basis for her original question, but that mostly because I don't like to think about the implications of her intentionally baiting and switching the public for this slimy moron.
