The one at 0:13 is a Quantum Bigfoot
i think its a prodrive... bigfoot were 5,25" drives or did they also exist in 3,5"?

Definitely an old WD Caviar, judging by the spindle motor and voice coil seek test.

I think so. Don't have it anymore so can't check.
I think its some sort of reset.
Its gets damaged quickly when the cover is off becasue dust gets in. The fly height of the heads may also be affected becasue of the different air flow.
