This play is great against shitty players... or the computer... But it would never work against me. If I saw an opponent do this, It would be quite obvious what his intentions are. I'd either call for a reverse & make that RB passblock & make the line slide block left, or id simply make the line slide block left and put the RB on a quick hitch route to the right

@Xizor8213 Your counter would be very effective, but if I saw this it would be obvious I would need to spread LB audible strike 2 deep move left CB in next to RE and hit you with instant pressure and tight zone coverage.

you can also make the far right lineman to do a QB contain, that allows the qauterback from scrambling to the right of the feild, and also can provide more pressure for the QB.

and for better coverage, do a Hook Zone to one of the middle linemens, this will prevent short passes to the inside.

for those crying about the RB being open thats why you bring down both safetys so he can make a quick play on the ball. also, if you idiots notice, after the CB presses the reciever, he is still in the flat zone anyway to stop the RB. Also just put the DE on the RB side in man cover. Thats what i do almost everyplay since the majority of players cant pass into zone and just hit there rbs really quck out of the backfield.

Idk guys, I thought this play was dketchy at first, but after concidering it, I think this would be a great play to use to put on the pressure after a wasted first down and could easily earn a nice 10-yard 3rd down conversion situations. You wouldn't use this too often because a quick out or slant coult break away with no free saftey, but that zone corner DOES cover the running back, preventing an easy through and at worst giving up a 3 yard pass

this play is easy to beat.. shift the o line to the left + motion the tail back out of the backfield. then modify the inside receiver's route to a go route.. there's an easy 10-12 yard gain.

youre assuming the offense will be in shotgun, one back blocking schemes. plus peyton manning never once stepped up to allow the blitzer to be picked up. I would eat this blitz up all day for 6

I use the ravens with 3/4 zone blitz up the middle and it works alot better. Also with the 3/4 zone bltz it stops the run as well. The only teams that i use zone blitz schemes are the ravens, steerlers, colts, giants.

it works a lot better if u shift your line left then reblitz your RE and reblitz your nickelback and put him on the RE's ass. instant sack and comes from inside so way harder to stop. also you do not need your LE so u can drop him into coverage if you want to

I would also recommend subbing your FS and SS in at the two starting CB spots, and then put your two starting CB in at the FS and SS spots, just for this one formation.......

This will give you better tackling in the flats, and also more speed in coverage.......
