For anyone who's wondering if this hairstyle works on thick or long hair let me just tell you IT DOESN'T. I don't have thick hair but my hair is quite long, after trying to do this hairstyle I had more bobby pins in my hair than actual hair, and it really looked like a mess. I even tried dividing into smaller sections, didn't work :/

Btw, to those with thick hair, i suggest u to use lightweight hair serum at the half bottom parts of ur hair to smooth it, apply root boosting mousse massaging to roots to help hold hair in place (do all this wen hair is damp, thn blowdry), then start teasing & rolling the hair. U may need to roll it more, i rolled mine top-twice and bottom-thrice with 2-3 pins each roll. Use hairspray wen ur set. Btw, my hair is UBER thick n semi-long, n it works very well for me.
