I think it's hilarious that some people think this is fake. Ok first let's make it clear what those guys are doing. They are slashers, they cut down trees to make a path through the bush or clear an existing trail cut by a mulcher. More than likely they are there for some sort of natural resource exploration (oil). We heard this sound @8 hours a day while a group of guys fed about 7 acres of trees into a machine that can only be described as a gimongous wood mixmaster which turns 50 year old trees into what is called hogfuel for burning up at the pulpmill...the squeaking you hear is the frontend loader...needs a grease job...they do this because it is cheaper than logging it.Sorry to burst the 2012 bubble on this one !!!!

This was already proven to be fake, the sound is used in several movies including War of the Worlds. It is an instrument called a water phone mixed with other sounds. This Conklin video just took the sound from the Kiev video see, "Strange Sounds 2012 debunked into oblivion" on youtube. The Moose Jaw one that i have posted is from a Russian source and sounds quite different. peace
