I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying, you might be, but I'm not sure. (sorry this is such a late reply) When I say "drum beat" I mean the hard snare on beats 2 & 4, and bass drum on 1 & 3.5. This isn't a bad thing, but the annoying thing to me is that most of Pendulum's songs have this same drum beat. Honestly, it's not that hard to change it up a bit. It gets really old.
