  • Love the video, don't mind these iddiots. I'm almost certain they don't know about the double limit on brook trout because there's such an abundance of them and their an invasive species, so even if you didn't release all of them it would be fine. Props on releasing them though.

  • @KRbros *idiots

  • Excuse me but don't your hands get wet when you reach in and grab the fish, idiots.

  • goingpostal, buy ford chrysler and gm..... there union.

  • it was all god except your Nissan truck. buy American made, union made, with fair pay for all.

  • @milkyecow96 That truck was made in Smyrna, Tennessee.

  • I respect your decision to release the fish but you're missing one of the most rewarding parts of fishing in my opinion.

  • U should try fly fishing

  • Brooks never wanna give up, great video

  • Hey zandertt, thanks for this great video. You guys really did an amazing job putting it together. Sorry for all the racist idiots here. It really makes me depressed reading those comments...

  • hey guys dont forget your water bottle, LOL

  • wow your really proud catching those 4 inch fish,. leave them alone and let them get big guke

  • of course, a chinese guy drivin a nissan

  • great vid

  • hey man...great video...I hope you guys were handling all those brookie guys with wet hands (the first dude didn't look like he did)...they're beautiful, I get em up here in mass all the time with my little bamboo fly rod...if you use dry hands and get too much of their natural slime protection off em, they might have some trouble with infection later on...

  • Great great video!!!!

  • Great video. The pond that we fish in is a brook trout pond in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY. It's great to see the brookie fishing in Yosemite. Nice looking brookies there. Come fish the adks sometime. Check out some of the brookie videos on our site. Our brookies are a little different looking than yours in Yosemite.

  • id just use a worm with a split shot, it workls the best for brook trout

  • You should always wet your hands before handling a brook trout. Because they have a coating on their scales that will get taken off by your hand and will die of infection.

  • very nice !

  • nice video, have you hike to the small lakes in the high sierra. they have some nice brookie too.

  • hey man sweet vid

  • i live like one hour away from the sierra mts and still havnt caught any brookies any one have any tips :)?

  • thank you very much for the great video brother.

  • i fish somewhere in lewis county ny a secret place on my own land we catch so many brookies its not even funny and im only 13 and this is how i fish them haha i donuse high tech gear i use a crappy pole one of those really simple button ones i use cheap line and a really small hook and aworm and i catch tons!!!!

  • woah no way i just realized i dont care

  • too small

  • I hate Panther Martin... The quality and performance is horrible... You should be fishing with Joe's Flies!!!

  • panter martins are spinners not flies two different categories

  • Awesome video, I love that area, used to fish up in the Sierras a lto before I moved out East

  • learn to release your fish

  • nice video. did u make sure you wet ur hands when you took the first brookie off?

  • cause u suck at fishing

  • i was fishing in a very small creek and i was using a panther marthin and i saw small trout about 3 inches long following it to the surface

  • they were prolly creek chubbs

  • no ibanez860 they are probably not creek chubbs......they are brook trout are you dumb???

  • Nice video! If you want to catch a lot more brookies, go fishing in the morning before the sun shines on the water because trout are cold water fish. You will catch a lot more.

  • What ype of rod was that? I've been looking for a lightweight 3 piece rod for backpacking, but I haven't found many.

  • Yes, all CPR (Catch, Picture, Release)

  • Nice video, what size Panther Martins do you use?

  • Comment removed

  • You should try to fly fish for brooks

i can tell a difference between that and an ultralight. I normally catch about ten more fish and catching a fish on a fly rod is always more fun.

  • I'm with you, fly fishing for them is awesome, especially the dry fly action. We did the video and article on conventional spinning just to highlight the easiest way to get them, but your absolutely right, and ultralight fly rig for these fish is exceptional.

  • @zandertt at 3:35 thats a brown right? cuz it looks like one

  • Awesome video, those Panther Martin spinners are money! Are there any lakes that you can drive to rather than hike to that you can catch decent sized Brookies? Love the site, you guys should review more ultralight trout rods.
