I think you need to use the editing to highlight the difference between the mundane London life and the dream of Florida - the whiteout isn't enough... maybe saturate the Florida footage and turn down the saturation for the London footage?
use a better quality camera, the lighting made the shots in the tunnel grainy.
also, why's he wearing sunglasses in the tunnel but not on the beach?
