i am big biafra fan mostly of his lyrics, but i cant get the point of this song, cause my mother language isnt english. can someone give a short exlaination about the meaning of this song?
Lard really was ahead of its time. When I first heard them a couple years ago, say `04, I thought they were a fairly modern creation. It was only until I did a little research I found out they are from the late 80`s / early 90`s. Jello and Ministry, fuckin` good mix.
I played this to death in 1990 when it came out. I'd forgotten just how good it was. Bitter stuff. Bit of a personal note but you wonder but it fits the bill for many of our cultural heroes.
If you have millions of dollars to fund highly advanced prosthetic limbs with an extremely responsive neural link and reception for dexterity you can do it.
when i was a kid a bunch of my friends and i went to hear jello biafra speak. after we heard him speak, i went walking off somewhere and my friend, sweetheart she was, decided to stay behind so she could surprise me with jello's autograph.
It's Jello on vocals, Al Jourgensen on Guitar, Paul Barker on Bass and Jeff Ward on Drums and Vocals. Basically the 1990 Ministry line-up! Then Mike Scaccia, William Rieflin and Rey Washam also helped on a few songs too!

Wah! Such intelligent lyrics backed by such powerful music. Immortal stuff. People today need to open their ears and listen to this music.

my friend watched jello give a speeach or something at washburn university in topeka, ks
there was never a scene of any kind here
but i dug outrageous stuff then it became normal, the outrageous became normalcy for me.
now in my older age i'm finding the stuff i dug was very extreme
when i was younger it was all a joke
ndnstd 3 years ago
i didn't like this all too much.
jello's delivery is tiresome sometimes
ndnstd 3 years ago
I sorta understand what you mean braaa but I don't agree :)
What other Jello stuff are you into?
ibanezmancons 3 years ago 2
what else is there besides dead kennedys?
and even with them i like just the "greatest hits,"
'give me conveinence or give me death'.
ndnstd 3 years ago
There's all his collaborations: Jello Biafra and the Melvins,
Jello Biafra and NoMeansNo,
Jello Biafra with D.O.A.
and Jello Biafra and Mojo Nixon :)
So many stuff!
He did 'The WitchTrials' as well and he's done a load of spoken word stuff!

you have delved into deep jello territory.
i had a friend who'd listened to jello and asked him for an autograph, jello said he didn't do autographs.
whatta think of that?
ndnstd 3 years ago 3
I thinks he just doesn't like giving them out.
I'm sure I read somewhere that it makes him feel like a football player or a pop star and he hates it.
So I'm not sure. It could just be that he's got a really terrible autograph that he wants no one to see!
ibanezmancons 3 years ago 3
Id say it's too Hollywood for him.. He aint a sell out

Can't be true. He gave me one during his I Blow Minds For A Living spoken word tour.
Maybe he just didn't like you.

@ndnstd I believe he dislikes the idea of elevating himself to "celebrity". He wants to be on the same level as his "fans".

@ndnstd if you understand jello and you can see what type of person he is , you should know he wont give autographs.
I guess you gotta try though.
