@parnellrd you think that the reason they sang that song is cause they are trying to get people to drink coca cola? no... they are trying to get their band name out there... so that people will listen to their music.... if that is selling out then every band in history has in some sort of way sold out, people aren't gonna drink coca cola just because the bedouin soundclash is singing their theme song... and if they do then they deserve to get fat. Musicians still need to make money too you know.

Indie doesn't have a sound. It means independant you twits, and can incorporate any number of sounds.

ya know..D-I-Y, etc? In other words it cna be band slike Sonic Youth to Black Flag to god only knows what.

And yes...you can be Post Hardcore and still be Indie ( or Metal, or Rock or Rap, etc )

Better question... is why do we need to slap a label on everything? Honestly...who cares if its Mainstream or Indie.. as long as it sounds good?
