@SQ153Cadet Somewhat true. You can have a cadet officer on color guard, but it is not recommended. You cannot compete in the National Cadet Competition if you have a cadet officer unless he earned his Mitchell Award after the Region Level Competition. However, you may have cadet officers on the Colors Element of an Honor Guard. The regulations do not specifically say that only enlisted cadets may be on the Colors Element of the Honor Guard. Hope it helps!

I agree, they looked pretty damn sharp, in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, the Honor Guard is called Flag Party, and the ones with the rifles are called Rifle Guard, it consists of 5 people, 3 front 2 back, looking at them, the one on the left holds the squadron's flag, center is the commander and the one on the right hold the Canadian flag, then a Rifle Guard behind both people with the flags...

Your economy is directly affected by ours. You guys cannot fight a war, you guys barely have a military in the first place.
You try fighting a war where your enemy is dressed just like the people walking down the street. It's pretty hard singling and individual out over there.
You know, I've actually been to Canada, Montreal, Ottawa, Quinte West, Quebec, and Niagara. It's a very nice country, people are very friendly, and it's an amazing place, I definately LOVED my two weeks in Canada, and I hope to go back one day. The notion that Canada sucks at life is pretty far-fetched. Canada and the United States need eachother equally, they aren't going away anytime soon - so let's stop the name calling shall we?
It is my understanding that you can not have an officer on the cadets color guard team. Maybe I am mistaken.
