.....And replace screen and you're done... Thanks @sportn23 for the vid. I had the screen replaced in about 30 minutes. I've done hundreds of iPhone 3g's and a few 4g's and this was not bad at all! Way easier than the 4g.
Really helped when I fixed a friends phone that had a busted screen. After you pull the battery cover off there are just 6 screws you need to pull off. After that the back panel will pry apart (gently) from the midframe/front screen part. Once that is off you have 3 screws on the motherboard that need to come off and then 2 flex cables to lift. The rest just pulls off the front panel of the phone. The speaker will need a little motivation on coming out. Just use a small flat head scrw drvr
Do you know if the 3.5mm jack on this phone is 3 pole or 4 pole?
