There are one or two valid comments here. The rest however, is clearly nothing more than cleverly written propaganda. A small amount of research, even using mainstream sources on occasion, shows very clearly that almost all of these Arab leaders were placed into power by coups orchestrated by the "intelligence" communities of Western nations. In the vast majority of people in the world it is fairly infrequent to have one or two people like James Madison in the crowds.... individuals who could think broadly, structurally, and set out to mold a certain governance system that can be debated & compromised on, among others --- even if some are radical --- who're also decently intelligent & well read. Fisk, again, is usually fairly close to the target, when he said by and large, dictators are not very bright people. There have been and likely there are still some in existence today, who are very bright. Hu of China is one. But for the most part autocrats and single-party-regimes are people and regimes that believe in the simpler ruling structures of the past, where the strongest & most brutal rule. Artificial stability among people can be achieved relatively easily, through an iron fist.
